Three-dimensional hierarchical porous carbons (HPCs) created through hydrothermal carbonization and the subsequent chemical activation of miscanthus were tested as adsorbents Pb2+ methylene blue from aqueous solution. The HPC pore structure was customized using various hydrochar precursors obtained a longer reaction time by adding acetic acid. derived acid’s addition exhibited highest specific surface area due to larger micropore volume. This adsorbent proved be most efficient in removing...

By maintaining a large number of local pepper genotypes, it is possible to preserve desirable genes that can be used in different selection programs. The aim this study was classify part the collection 15 genotypes (11 populations and 4 varieties originating from autochthonous populations) peppers Republic Serbia. Morphological characteristics (weight, length, width, pericarp thickness, color before fruit ripening, shape chambers) 10 phytochemical parameters (carbohydrates, essential oils,...

In this paper certain natural minerals (zeolite, apatite, diatomite, sepiolite, kaolin etc.) are emphasized, thanks to their physical and chemical characteristics, in or modified/refined form, they can be very good adsorbents of: mycotoxins, toxic metals, radionuclide, ammonia other unacceptable matters. They help by providing nutrients plants animals.Eminently there convictions that particular aluminosilicate minerals, because of high content SiO 2 convenient pH, used for drying storage...

Phosphate-induced metal stabilization (PIMS) using apatite stabilizes uranium in situ, by chemically binding it into the new low-solubility (Ksp=10-49) phase. Uranium-phosphate-autunite is stable across a wide range of geological conditions for millions years. A large area contaminated soil suitable situ remediation that involves minimizing mobility uranium. Laboratory study was conducted to quantify different forms sequestration contaminant. The experiment done with natural phosphate from...

This paper presents the results of research on diatomaceous earth as a possible precursor for obtaining new materials. Diatomaceous from Kolubura Basin was used, where it is present an accompanying mineral raw material. In synthesis process, ion-exchanged with diluted 0.25 M MnNO3 solution. After that, samples were annealed in temperature range 800 to 1100 ºC. A phase akatoreite (Mn9Al2Si8O24(OH)8) obtained. characterization method X-ray powder diffraction polycrystalline sample and scanning...

Concrete is a material that has been used for centuries and often modified using polymers. In the last fifty years, synthetic polymers have modification of concrete, but also production concrete. recent decades, sulfur concrete an interesting product can be mainly in low-rise construction due to its characteristics. this work, we starting mixture preparation (sand, elemental with addition fillers) heated temperature 120 ºC 170 homogenized. The results previous research on showed density...
