Abstract. We describe here characterization of a new state-of-the-art smog chamber facility for studying atmospheric gas-phase and aerosol chemistry. The consists 30 m3 fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) Teflon film reactor housed in temperature-controlled enclosure equipped with black lamps as the light source. Temperature can be set range from −10 to 40 °C at accuracy ±1 measured by eight temperature sensors inside one just reactor. Matrix air purified non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHCs)...

Multiple monochromatic x-ray imaging (MMI) is a technique for diagnosing the emission spectra of tracer elements in laser-driven inertial confinement fusion experiments. This study proposes an MMI method that combines simple pinhole array with laterally graded multilayer mirror. The directly obtains multiple images by regulating thickness different mirror positions to compensate energy-broadening effect. paper presents comprehensive design scheme, fabrication and experimental verification...

Multilayer gratings are increasingly popular optical elements at X-ray beamlines, as they can provide much higher photon flux in the tender range compared with traditional single-layer coated gratings. While there several proprietary software tools that functionality to simulate efficiencies of such gratings, until now community has lacked an open-source alternative. Here MLgrating is presented, a program for simulating both multilayer and applications. benchmarked by comparing its output...

Abstract To explore the application of micro-sized B-Al (boron-aluminum) compound powder in enhanced blast explosive(EBX) and thermobaric explosive(TBX), three HMX-based explosives containing (PF-1, PF-2 PF-3)were designed prepared. The ignition combustion characteristics various samples (micro- nano-sized B, powders without with HMX) under different pressures atmospheres were studied by a laser experimental system, flame evolution images emission spectral characteristic parameters process...

Abstract. We describe here characterization of a new state-of-the-art smog chamber facility for studying atmospheric gas phase and aerosol chemistry. The consists 30 m3 fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) Teflon film reactor suspended in temperature-controlled enclosure equipped with two banks black lamps as the light source. Temperature can be set range from −10 °C to 40 at accuracy ±1 measured by eight temperature sensors inside one just reactor. Matrix air purified NMHCs < 0.5 ppb,...
