Gel-based triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) has demonstrated promising potentials in stretchable electronics owing to gel electrodes' intrinsic softness, stretchability, and conductivity. However, delamination between elastomer layers deformations remains a considerable challenge for gel-based TENG, which most often induces structure failure. Herein, gels are regarded as adhesives further effectively enhances interfacial bonding strength by rough interface adhesives' view, exploits gels'...

A tough non-woven material of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with an area up to several tens square centimeters (see Figure) has been prepared by a direct-floating chemical vapor deposition method followed purification. The SWNT exhibits extremely high Young's modulus ca. 0.4–0.7 TPa, so it potential applications in mechanical reinforcement composite materials.

Stretchable materials are the foundation of dielectric actuators (DEAs) for artificial muscle. However, inadequate constant stretchable has always greatly limited performance Recently, soft fillers have been proposed to improve property and preserve stretchability softness, aiming avoid stiffening effect traditional rigid fillers. As composites, an amount interfacial region is generated, which remarkably affects composites' from dielectrics mechanics. Herein, we demonstrate that size effect,...

Selective preparation of double wall carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs) is achieved by a floating iron catalyst CVD method with sufur promotion. SEM shows that the product consists entangled nanotubes. HRTEM and Raman scattering have revealed smallest inner diameter as‐grown 0.4 nm (see Figure). The found to be produced at low partial pressure sulfur content.

In order to improve the performance of mixed liquor, Polymeric aluminum ferric sulfate (PAFS) was added a submerged membrane bioreactor (SMBR). PAFS addition reduced significantly rising rate suction pressure and decreased by 70.8% cake resistance. Meanwhile, mean size particles in much bigger than that absence PAFS, which some extent prevented pore blocking. Moreover, SMBR, there were more microorganisms larger COD- VSS loading. The observations reveal plays an important role reducing...
