Although the biological processes of organism under hypoxic stress had been elucidated, whole physiological changes Saccharomyces cerevisiae (S. cerevisiae) are still unclear. In this work, we investigated process S. hypoxia by methods transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics. The results showed that expression a total 1017 mRNA in transcriptome, 213 proteins proteome 51 metabolites metabolome significantly changed between normoxia conditions. Moreover, based on...

Stomatal density (SD) is closely related to crop drought resistance. Understanding the genetic basis for natural variation in SD may facilitate efforts improve water-use efficiency. Here, we report a genome-wide association study maize seedlings, which identified 18 variants that could be resolved seven candidate genes. A 3-bp insertion variant (InDel1089) last exon of Zea mays (Zm) IRX15A (Irregular xylem 15A) had most significant with and modulated translation ZmIRX15A mRNA by affecting...

The aim was to investigate the pharmacokinetic interaction between puerarin and edaravone, effect of borneol on brain distribution kinetics in rats.A reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography method developed validated for simultaneous determination edaravone rat plasma. detection successfully applied compare using in-situ microdialysis sampling rats after intravenous administration co-administration with a single dose. The gave good linearity no endogenous material interfered two...

Lapachol is a natural naphthoquinone compound that possesses extensive biological activities. The aim of this study to investigate the inhibitory effects lapachol on rat C6 glioma both in vitro and vivo, as well potential mechanisms. antitumor effect was firstly evaluated model Wistar rats. cell proliferation, apoptosis DNA damage were detected by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS)/ phenazinemethosulfate (PMS) assay, hoechst 33358...

In order to investigate the pharmacokinetics of a combination diazepam and dexamethasone under hypoxic conditions, novel, sensitive specific liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for simultaneous determination in rat plasma was developed validated. The chromatographic separation analytes successfully achieved on an XTerra® MS C18 column using gradient elution methanol water containing 0.1% formic acid at flow rate 0.5 mL/min. This demonstrated good linearity...

Abstract Albiflorin, a traditional Chinese herb, is main component of Radix paeoniae Alba , which has been used for the treatment depressive disorders since ancient times. However, mechanism antidepressant effect albiflorin poorly understood. Thus, we explored binding profile at neurotransmitter receptors and transporters. We also characterised in vivo on monoaminergic systems by using microanalysis to determine extracellular levels serotonin (5-HT) norepinephrine (NE) hypothalamus freely...

Preoperative anxiety is common and often comes with a higher probability of worse recovery. However, the neurological mechanism effect preoperative on general anesthesia subsequent awakening remains unknown. In this study, we report an anxious state results in delayed model mice from sevoflurane anesthesia. More profound inhibition DA neurons VTA contributes to awakening. Optogenetic stimulation can reverse delay. The indicate that may be involved delay caused by anxiety.

The olfactory system of insects is crucial in modulating behaviors such as host seeking, mating, and oviposition. Odorant-binding proteins (OBPs) are involved semiochemical recognition. OBPs recognize bind odorants transport them to odorant receptors located neurons. Harmonia axyridis (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) a widely used predacious biological control agent for many agricultural forestry pests. This study identified 19 H. based on the antennal whole-body transcriptomes adults obtained...
