Ions doping-driven structural phase transition accompanied by magnetism switching and band-gap narrowing effects has been observed in PbTi1−xNixO3−δ (xPTNO, x = 0.00, 0.06, 0.33) thin films. With the increase of x, xPTNO films exhibit not only a from pseudotetragonal structure to centrosymmetric cubic but also drastic decrease grain size. Moreover, as-grown Ni-doped PbTiO3 (PTO) show obvious room-temperature ferromagnetism an increased saturation magnetization with increasing Ni content,...

Abstract The impacts of mega international sports events on host communities have attracted considerable scholarly attention, while few studies explored the non‐mega (NMISEs). Prior focus economic hosting events, ignoring social impacts. This study interrogates dynamics behind staging NMISEs in small town Cambridge, New Zealand, focusing It also examines role exchange theory explaining formation residents' attitudes toward NMISEs. As findings indicate, Cambridge residents are supportive They...

Band-gap narrowing and magnetic effects have been observed in a Ni-doped Ba(Ti0.875Ce0.125)O3 (BTC) thin film. Structural characterizations microstructural analysis show that the as-prepared Ba(Ti0.75Ce0.125Ni0.125)O3−δ (BTCN) film exhibits cubic perovskite structure with an average grain size of 25 nm. The Ce doping at Ti-site results increasing volume to favour O-vacancy-stabilized Ni2+ substitution. Raman spectroscopy, however, shows symmetry crystalline structures is locally lowered by...

Abstract A series of metal–organic cages featuring two stereogenic elements, in terms the twisting amide moieties within ligand backbones and rotation diazaanthracene segments along ridges, were exploited. These chiral components are correlative serve as relays for transmitting chirality information between internal external cages. The induced by a guest inside cage cavity can pass through framework influence orientation on periphery cage. In turn, center transfer back into cavity, enabling...
