This study investigates the correlation between optical vegetation indices (NDVI, EVI, and DVI) in Xixiu Modern Efficient Vegetable Agricultural Demonstration Park using Sentinel-1A radar Sentinel-2A imagery. Results show that VH back-scattering coefficients exhibit most significant with across time periods, while VV, RVI, CR weaker or inconsistent correlations. Landscape shape index (LSI) patch size significantly influence these relationships, larger LSI sizes enhancing VH, NDVI/DVI.

The Pitaya industry is a specialty fruit in the mountainous region of Guizhou, China. planted area Guizhou reaches 7200 ha, ranking first country. At present, planting lacks efficient yield estimation methods, which has negative impact on downstream chain, stymying constant growing market. fragmented and complex terrain karst areas capricious local weather have hindered accurate crop identification using traditional satellite remote sensing there currently little attempt made to tackle...

Yellow soils developed in limestone weathering materials are representative on Guizhou Plateau, Southwest China. As one of the most important cultivated Province, karst yellow generally thin and can be significantly damaged by mild soil erosion. This work used structural equation model (SEM) to analyze influence various factors runoff generation sediment loss based a long time series (2015–2020) natural rainfall-runoff data erosion collected from 18 plots region China, which reflects...

Considering the fragmentation of karst mountainous areas, a Dajiang Innovation Mavic 2 Pro quadcopter drone was used to collect visible light images modern intensive agricultural planting area in response high labor intensity and low efficiency manual assessment plastic film mulching (PFM). First, characteristics RGB values 10 main types features sample area, such as PFM, crops, buildings, roads, were analyzed based on color index, geometric size, texture characteristics. Second,...

The counting of crop plants is an important basis for the estimation pitaya yield. Traditional monitoring methods are time-consuming and laborious. tree, one characteristic economic crops in complex mountain environment, was selected as research object. Considering comprehensive factors such different seasons, cloud shadow shading, interplanting, steep terrain, breeds, ages trees, quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were used to collect visible light images planting base trees test...
