Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a worldwide pandemic since mid-December 2019, which greatly challenge public medical systems. With limited resources, it is natural strategy, while adopted, to access the severity of patients then determine treatment priority. However, our work observes fact that condition many mild outpatients quickly worsens in short time, i.e. deteriorate into severe/critical cases. Hence, been crucial early identify those cases and give...

Abstract As COVID-19 is highly infectious, many patients can simultaneously flood into hospitals for diagnosis and treatment, which has greatly challenged public medical systems. Treatment priority often determined by the symptom severity based on first assessment. However, clinical observation suggests that some with mild symptoms may quickly deteriorate. Hence, it crucial to identify patient early deterioration optimize treatment strategy. To this end, we develop an early-warning system...

Abstract A novel kind of macromolecule, long‐chain alkyl quaternary ammonium functionalized hyperbranched polyester (QHPE), was synthesized by the reaction Boltorn H30 (H30) and 2,3‐epoxypropyl dimethyl chloride under alkaline conditions in dimethylformamide. After modification, hydroxyl terminal group converted into an functional group. series products obtained with different lengths chain (C8, C12, C16, C18) All were characterized Fourier transform infrared NMR spectroscopy. Pleural fibrosis is defined as an excessive deposition of extracellular matrix that results in destruction the normal pleural tissue architecture and compromised function. Tuberculous pleurisy, asbestos injury, rheumatoid pleurisy are main causes fibrosis. mesothelial cells (PMCs) play a key role However, detailed mechanisms poorly understood. Serine/arginine-rich protein SRSF6 belongs to family highly conserved RNA-binding splicing-factor proteins. Based on its known functions, should be...

Background Currently available radiological methods do not completely capture the diversity of multiple sclerosis (MS) lesion subtypes. This lack information hampers understanding disease progression and potential treatment stratification. For example, inflammation persists in some lesions after gadolinium (Gd) enhancement resolves. Novel metabolic molecular imaging may improve current assessments MS pathophysiology. Purpose To compare vivo proton exchange rate ( k ex ) MRI with Gd‐enhanced...
