ABSTRACT
The authors studied psychiatric complications of disulfiram use in 605 alcoholic patients. subjects were assigned to one three treatment groups: a 250-mg group (N = 202), 1-mg 204) control for the fear alcohol-disulfiram reaction, and no-disulfiram 199) effect psychotherapy. No significant differences incidence found among groups. conclude that if follow use, must be very low with doses used presently absence predisposing factors.
