An intrinsic plastic ${\mathrm{Cu}}_{45}{\mathrm{Zr}}_{46}{\mathrm{Al}}_{7}{\mathrm{Ti}}_{2}$ bulk metallic glass (BMG) with high strength and superior compressive strain of up to 32.5% was successfully fabricated by copper mold casting. The attributed a large amount randomly distributed free volume induced Ti minor alloying, which results in extensive shear band formation, branching, interaction self-healing cracks. mechanism plasticity presented here suggests that the creation BMGs...

Plant responses to elevated CO₂ and high temperature are critically regulated through a complex network of phytohormones redox homeostasis. However, the involvement abscisic acid (ABA) in plant adaptation heat stress under conditions has not been thoroughly studied. This study investigated interactive effects (800 μmol·mol(-1) ) (42 °C for 24 h) on endogenous level ABA cellular state two genotypes tomato with different biosynthesis capacities. Heat significantly decreased maximum...

The present study evaluated the effects of chilling, partial desiccation, cotyledon excision and successive subculture microspore-derived embryos on plant development in oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.). results showed that out five media, all genotypes best response when were cultured half-strength Murashige Skoog medium with 2.0 mg dm-3 benzylaminopurine. A cold treatment for 3 or 5 d further increased frequencies embryo germination (90.0 %) plantlet (58.46 %). Desiccation one day also...

We report here a synthesis method for single-crystal monodisperse GeO2 nanocubes in reverse micelle system. Hydrolysis of germanium tetrachloride (GeCl4) system produces the presence oleylamine and cetyltrimethylammonium (CTAB). The average edge length cubes varies from 50 to 520 nm depending on concentration CTAB solution. perfection monodispersity are greatly improved by decreasing pH value water Different morphologies such as capsules can be prepared using octane oil phase. BFDH...

Abstract Crosses were made to produce interspecific hybrids between Brassica napus × B. juncea and their reciprocals with the aid of embryo culture techniques. A better response hybrid was obtained from two cross combinations (Ames 24521 Huyou 15 Vittasso Zheshuang 72) than reciprocals. Embryo more effective in terms plant regeneration when embryos cultured vitro at days after pollination (DAP), while calli initiated excised 10 DAP. observed on MS medium 0.3 mg l −1 naphthylacetic acid (NAA)...

High-pressure behaviors of wurtzite-type hexagonal CoO nanocrystals were investigated by in situ high-pressure synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction measurements up to 57.4 GPa at ambient temperature. It is found that bulk modulus the phase about 115 zero pressure. During compression, transfers into rocksalt-type cubic pressure range 0.8−6.9 GPa. The volume collapse accompanied transition was estimated be 20%. This irreversibly transformation; is, remains after release. Based on data peak...

The shoot fresh mass, root length and numbers of two potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cultivars Favorita Helanwuhua were increased significantly by the application 0.2 - 2 mg dm-3 jasmonic acid (JA) in Murashige Skoog medium. However, growth explants was inhibited JA at high concentrations (20 50 dm-3). Chlorophyll content explant leaves decreased with an increase concentration JA. In treated peroxidase activity increased, while more than decreased. Under dark, microtuber numbers, mass...

A binary surfactant mixture of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and polyvinyl pyrrolidone is used as the tailoring agent in fabrication lead micro/nanostructures. Electron microscopy studies indicate that morphologies products can be efficiently controlled this simple one-step synthetic procedure. Intriguingly, well-defined asymmetric functional colloids, Pb hemispheres, are obtained for first time, a dual-activity-controlled growth process proposed to explain their formation. The...

In this study, a solution-phase method was demonstrated to generate silver (Ag) nanowires with diameters in the range of 30~50nm and lengths up ~50μm, which proceed by reducing nitrate ethylene glycol presence poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP). Fundamental material characterizations including X-ray diffraction transmission electro microscopy (TEM) scanning (SEM) were conducted on these Ag nanowires. A novel kind isotropical conductive adhesives (ICA) prepared using as filler. Electrical property...
