This study aimed to determine the impact of health on quality life (QoL) and working (QWL) university teachers. A cross-sectional was conducted with 284 teachersin areas health, sciences, human agricultural sciences using a sociodemographic questionnaire containing health-related questions, WHOQOL-bref, TQWL-42. Results: findings showed that teachers who practiced physical activity had better QoL,QWL, sleep quality. Advanced age also associated QoL.Furthermore, QoL QWL were lower in used...
It is well known that the immune response declines with senescence and it suggested these changes render an individual susceptible to infection, autoimmune phenomena cancer. Bacterial viral infections are a major cause of illness death amongst aged subjects, once infection established, elderly also have diminished capacity prevent its spread (1). The cellular molecular basis for this age-related decline in immuno-competence still unknown and, possibly, related alteration cell transduction...
The aim of this study was to analyse the effects a combined strength-training programme (full-back squat, YoYoTM leg curl, plyometrics and sled towing exercises) on performance in elite young soccer players examine when training performed one or two days per week. Thirty-six male (U-17 U-19) were recruited assigned experimental groups (EXP1: 1 s w-1; EXP2: 2 w-1) control group (CON). Performance assessed through countermovement jump (CMJ) test (relative peak power [CMJPP] CMJ height [CMJH]),...
Abstract The aims of this study were to analyse the effect chronic strength training over concentric power (CON), eccentric (ECC), ECC/CON ratio, and 20 m linear sprint performance in elite young soccer players. Twenty Spanish players assigned an experimental group (CPG) which performed a front-step exercise using conical pulley, 2–3 sets 6 repetitions each leg, during 9 weeks (CPG, n=10) addition its usual training, or control (CG, n=10). improvements ECC mean (36%, ES=1.61), / CON ratio...
To compare the value of Q angle in different positions, external and internal rotations lower limbs. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study. We have evaluated 62 volunteers, 32 women 30 men following positions: supine positions with parallel feet, abduction (external rotation limbs), standing position feet rotation. All participants were sedentary without previous history acute injury or complaints regarding limbs. In order to calculate we used computerized biophotogrammetry through ALC...
Abstract de Hoyo, M, Núñez, FJ, Sañudo, B, Gonzalo-Skok, O, Muñoz-López, A, Romero-Boza, S, Otero-Esquina, C, Sánchez, H, and Nimphius, S. Predicting loading intensity measuring velocity in barbell hip thrust exercise. J Strength Cond Res 35(8): 2075–2081, 2021—The is an increasingly used exercise to target the extensors. Direct indirect measurement of 1 repetition maximum (1RM) determine relative load each time-consuming; therefore, practitioners may be more favor monitoring determining...
Background: Self-reported clinical worsening by people with Parkinson's disease (PD) during social distancing may be aggravated in Brazil, where the e/tele-health system is precarious. Objectives: This study aims to investigate self-reported changes motor and non-motor aspects PD living Brazil factors that might explain these changes. Methods: In this multicenter cross-sectional trial, 478 a diagnosis of idiopathic (mean age = 67, SD 9.5; 167 female) were recruited from 14 centers...
Abstract Martínez-Cabrera, FI, Núñez-Sánchez, FJ, Losada, J, Otero-Esquina, C, Sánchez, H, and De Hoyo, M. Use of individual relative thresholds to assess acceleration in young soccer players according initial speed. J Strength Cond Res 35(4): 1110–1118, 2021—The aims the current study were (a) analyze characteristics efforts using speed during official matches elite player position (b) compare differences between absolute assessing high-intensity acceleration. Player profiles assessed an...

Urban transport drivers, specifically taxi and motorcycle are exposed to particular environmental, societal, health situations related their occupation. To compare work capacity quality of life correlate ability, a cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 232 drivers 60 male in urban cities Brazil. Three instruments were used for evaluation: questionnaire on sociodemographic occupational issues, the Work Capacity Index (WCI), WHOQOL-bref (World Health Organization Quality...
Preventing perioperative tissue oxygen debt contributes to a better postoperative recovery. Whether the beneficial effects of fluids and inotropes during optimization delivery (DO2) in high-risk surgical patients are due fluids, or combination two is not known. We aimed investigate effect fluid optimization, without use inotropes, on morbidity.
comparar a QV e QVT entre os docentes com regimes laborais distintos também de sexos opostos.
This study investigated biomechanical differences between successful and unsuccessful jumps during a pole vault competition. Two hundred seven pairs of at the same height were analysed. Participants included male female athletes three different age groups with bar clearances ranging from 2.81 to 5.91 m. Run-up parameters collected using an Optojump Next system Stalker Pro II radar gun. A 2D kinematical analysis was conducted obtain selected take-off. Only trivial small found jumps. The speed...
Pole vault performance is highly correlated with the final running velocity of athlete at take-off (Frere et al. 2010). To achieve top velocity, has to develop a large forwa...
Objective: To analyze the position of scapula and its influence on shoulder pain. Methods: In this study, 30 sedentary young adults both genders, aged 20-35 years were evaluated. The sample was divided into two groups with same number subjects, one group pain other free. analysis positioning in six angles abduction taken 0º, 30º, 60º, 90º, 120º 180º. Results: Comparison left right scapular movements males group, there a significant difference at 30º (p = 0.018) 0.04). Comparing shoulders 0º...

The scapular waist comprises the scapula and clavicle together with humerus external constitute shoulder, a joint formed by 5 joints. When moves coordinately maintaining axis of rotation is called scapulohumeral rhythm.Scapular dyskinesia are changes in position movements that predispose to shoulder injuries.Several factors can create be divided into three categories dyskinetic patterns, which correspond planes motion on thoracic, identifying type abnormal movement: I, II III.The objective...
