Abstract Several soil microbes are present in the rhizosphere zone, especially plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), which best known for their activities. The study reflects effect of gold nanoparticles (GNPs) at various concentrations on PGPR. GNPs were synthesized chemically, by reduction HAuCl4, and further characterized UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction technique (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), etc. impact PGPR was investigated Clinical Laboratory Standards...

To isolate bacteria capable of degrading endosulfan (ES) and the more toxic ES sulfate to characterize their metabolites.A Pseudomonas sp. strain IITR01 α-ES was isolated using technical-ES through enrichment culture techniques. No growth no degradation were observed β-ES. Thin-layer chromatography gas chromatography-mass spectrum analysis revealed disappearance both formation hydroxylated products diol, ether lactone. We show here for first time aforementioned metabolites in contrast...

DNA methyltransferase 3B (DNMT3B) is critical in de novo methylation during development and tumorigenesis. We recently reported the identification of a DNMT3B subfamily, DeltaDNMT3B, which contains at least seven variants, resulting from alternative pre-mRNA splicing. DeltaDNMT3Bs are predominant expression forms human lung cancer. A strong correlation was observed between promoter RASSF1A gene but not p16 (both frequently inactivated by cancer) DeltaDNMT3B4 primary cancer, suggesting role...

Abstract We investigated 16S rRNA methyltransferases in 38 blaNDM-1–positive Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates and found RmtC 3 isolates, 1 of which also harbored RmtF. The were clonally unrelated; rmtC rmtF genes located on a chromosome with the blaNDM-1 gene. Strategies are needed to limit spread such isolates.

New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase (NDM)-mediated carbapenem resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii is a major concern. We investigated the presence of NDM its variants P. A. at tertiary hospital North India. A total 236 isolates (130 106 baumannii) were included; 38 (29.23%) 20 (18.8%) resistant to carbapenems all them blaNDM positive. All carbapenem-resistant harbored blaNDM-1, while 12 (60%) blaNDM-2. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis showed that 58 clonally...

Both n-3 in addition n-6 full of fat acids, are vital aimed at human vigor and physiological function as well all domesticated species. A proper dose LNA (linolenic acid) is crucial, the greasy acid proportion ineffective hinders growing polyunsaturated fatty consumption. When ingested sufficient quantities while avoiding additional FA, it can convert to EPA DHA promoting optimal functions wellness. Humans have a lower turnover compared rodents, transformation less common significantly more...

Increasing prevalence of multidrug-resistant infections has rendered the healthcare systems ineffective in managing infectious diseases. Drugs "last resort" like carbapenems and polymyxins are becoming less effective management antibiotic-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections, leaving clinicians with limited choices. Evaluation efficacy other available broad-spectrum antibiotics (belonging to a different class) is warranted as treatment alternative. The current study was undertaken...
