본 연구는 비부착식 PSC 텐던에 도입된 응력이 종진동 응력파 속도에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 규명한다. 도입 긴장력이 다른 강연선과 강선에 대하여 임팩트 해머를 이용한 종방향 가진이 수행되었고 응력파의 속도 계측이 수행되었다. 계측된 구조응답으로부터 속도가 도입장력의 크기에 선형 비례하는 것이 강연선 및 강선 모두의 경우에서 확인되었다. 그러나 응력파속도의 도입장력에 대한 민감도가 매우 낮다. 또한 무차원 해석결과를 살펴보면, 긴장재의 인장강도에 따라서도 응력파속도가 변화하는 것으로 추론된다.
