A novel polysaccharide, here named DP1, was isolated from the fruiting body of Dictyophora indusiata using a water extraction method. Structure characterization revealed that DP1 had an average molecular weight 1132 kDa and consisted glucose (56.2%), galactose (14.1%), mannose (29.7%). The main linkage type were proven to be (1 → 3)-linked α-l-Man, 2,6)-linked α-d-Glc, 6)-linked β-d-Glc, β-d-Gal, β-d-Man by periodate oxidation–Smith degradation nuclear magnetic resonance analysis....

The intracellular antioxidant activities of diosmetin were evaluated by cellular activity (CAA) assay, 2,2-azobis(2-amidinopropane) dihydrochloride (AAPH)-induced erythrocyte hemolysis assay and cupric chloride (CuCl2)-induced plasma oxidation assay. results showed that exhibits strong (EC50 = 7.98 μmol, CAA value 58 μmol QE/100 μmol). It was also found treatment could effectively attenuate AAPH-induced (91.0% inhibition at 100 μg/mL) CuCl2-induced through reactive oxygen species (ROS)...

Abstract Bio-functionalized nanoparticles with semiconducting/metallic core encapsulated in a bio- or bio-derived materials are promising for applications biology and especially cancer diagnostic healing. In this report, we report facile, single-step, first-time synthesis in-situ functionalization strategy the preparation of monodispersed selenium (SeNPs) functionalized using novel polysaccharide (DP1) extracted from Dictyophora indusiata (a fungus). The DP1 SeNPs (DP1-SeNPs), where is...

Ovarian cancer is one of the most serious female malignancies worldwide. Despite intensive efforts being made to overcome ovarian cancer, there still remain limited optional treatments for this disease. Nobiletin, a prospective food-derived phytochemical extracted from citrus fruits, has recently been reported suppress cells, but role pyroptosis in carcinoma with nobiletin remains unknown. In study, we aim explore effect on and further expound underlying mechanisms nobiletin-induced cell...

Dictyophora indusiata polysaccharide (DP1) was successfully chelated with zinc chloride to achieve its enhanced antiproliferative activity. The obtained DP1-Zn complex showed significant activity (18.1 ± 2.84% viability of MCF-7 cells at 250 μg/mL) on a group human cancer cell lines through induction apoptosis. pro-apoptotic action confirmed by morphological changes including chromatin condensation, DNA breakage, and S phase cycle arrest in breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7). DP1-Zn-induced...

The walnut peptides and zinc ions were combined to generate a peptides-zinc complex (WP1-Zn) with enhanced antiproliferative ability as well reduced toxicity. result indicated that Zn successfully WP1 through Zn–N Zn–O covalent bonds. WP1-Zn compounds exhibited strong against the selected human cell lines, especially MCF-7 cells, whose survival rate 20.02% after exposure 300 μg/mL of for 48 h. inhibited proliferation inducing apoptosis cycle arrest. results induced via ROS triggered...
