Acute bacterial arthritis (ABA) is a serious, pediatric infection that can result in motor comorbidities. Normally, joint fluid white blood cell (WBC) count of 50,000 or more cells/mm 3 used to make presumptive diagnosis ABA. An 18-month-old boy presented with septic arthritis and osteomyelitis caused by Hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae harboring cardinal virulence genes. The condition necessitated several surgical interventions, a prolonged course of antibiotic therapy to effectively manage the severe infection prevent complications, highlighting challenges posed in pediatric cases.
