One key to malignant progression of pancreatic cancer (PC) is the acquired ability tumour cells escape immune-mediated lysis. Hypoxic microenvironment plays a causal role in PC metastasis. According previous studies, hypoxia could induce upregulation HIF1A, ADAM10 and sMICA, leading decreased NKG2D NK from immune surveillance cell-mediated In present study, derived high-HIF1A expression patients, levels internalization MICA/B were obviously higher than those low-HIF1A group; dramatically...

A vinylogous tetrathiafulvalene (TTFV) monomer was prepared and copolymerized with fluorene to give a conformationally switchable conjugated copolymer. This copolymer shown undergo conformational change upon protonation trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). When mixed single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs), this TTFV-fluorene exhibited strong interactions the SWNT surface, leading stable, concentrated nanotube dispersions in toluene. Photoluminescence excitation mapping indicated that selectively...

A stretchable silicon elastomer comprising cobalt ions in pyridine pendant polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) was prepared. Different from previously reported cobalt-coordinated elastomers, these elastomers are self-healable at room temperature with a high healing efficiency of over 90%. Besides, they exhibit tailored solvatochromic properties wide range without sacrificing its self-healing ability room-temperature.

Using molecular dynamics (MD) simulation, we studied the structural transformation and breaking mechanism of a single crystalline copper nanowire under continuous strain. At certain strain rate, an ensemble relaxed initial states can preferentially go through one or more paths deformation. In each deformation path, disordered atoms be generated at specific positions nanowire, where necking take place afterward. Such position is not predetermined; multiple lead to strain-rate-dependent,...
