This review aims to provide reports of one dimensional (1-D) coordination polymers that have been used as catalysts in various organic reactions the last decade, covering literature from 2007 and onwards. The CPs mainly categorized into homometallic heterometallic compounds; additional parameters such metal ligand selection for CP are discussed a more detailed look each system.

Guest responsive porous materials represent an important and fascinating class of multifunctional solids that have attracted considerable attention in recent years. An understanding how these structures form is essential toward their rational design, which a prerequisite for the development tailor-made advanced applications. We herein report novel series stable rare-earth (RE) MOFs show rare continuous breathing behavior unprecedented gas-trapping property. used asymmetric 4-c tetratopic...
The facile copper-catalyzed synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles from aldehydes, amines, and β-nitroalkenes is reported. Remarkably, the use α-methyl-substituted aldehydes provides efficient access to a series tetra- pentasubstituted via an overwhelming 1,2-phenyl/alkyl migration. present methodology also accessible non α-substituted yielding corresponding trisubstituted pyrroles. On contrary, ketones, in place does not promote organic transformation, signifying necessity aldehydes....
Abstract A series of new ( N′ ‐substituted)‐hydrazo‐4‐aryl‐1,4‐dihydropyridines was successfully synthesized via a facile one‐pot catalytic pathway utilizing azines and propiolate esters as starting materials one‐dimensional copper benzotriazole‐based coordination polymer catalyst. In the absence catalyst, corresponding 5‐substituted 4,5‐dihydropyrazoles were formed in moderate to high yields. Fine‐tuning catalysts allowed us gain more insights regarding plausible reaction mechanism. magnified image
In this work we study the coordination chemistry of a series semirigid benzotriazole based ligands (L1–L3) along with low number but versatile AgI ions. This has led to nine new compounds formulated [Ag(L1)(CF3CO2)] (1), [Ag2(L1T)2(CF3SO3)2]·2Me2CO (2), [Ag(L2T)(ClO4)(Me2CO)] (3), [Ag(L2T)(BF4)(Et2O)] (4), [Ag2(L3T)2(ClO4)2]2 (5), [Ag(L3)(NO3)] (6), [Ag2(L3T)2(CF3CO2)2] (7), [Ag2(L3T)(CF3SO3)2] (8), and [Ag2(L3T)2(CF3CF2CO2)2]·2Me2CO (9). These show structural diversity including dimers (5,...
Abstract Per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are emerging as bioaccumulative toxic water pollutants, posing a large threat to human aquatic organisms. This is aggravated by their extreme persistence common degradation methods. Adsorption regarded the most conventional method treat these contaminants, however, existing sorbents present considerable limitations on performance. The development of more efficient PFAS adsorbents therefore urgent need. class metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs)...
Highly connected metal organic frameworks (MOFs) in which at least one building block has connectivity higher than twelve are very rare and much desirable. We report here the first examples of isostructural 14-connected MOFs, RE-frt-MOF-1, constructed from assembly 14-c hexanuclear rare-earth clusters, [RE6(μ3-X)8(COO)12]2- (RE: Y3+, Tb3+, Dy3+, Ho3+, Er3+, Yb3+ X: OH-/F-) with a tritopic carboxylate-based linker. This linker serves as 3-c 4-c node resulting formation unique, trinodal...
Nine coordination clusters (M = CoII/III, NiII, CuII) using a monoanionic Schiff base ligand were synthesized and characterized. A series of transformations occur in the certain compounds.
