This review aims to provide reports of one dimensional (1-D) coordination polymers that have been used as catalysts in various organic reactions the last decade, covering literature from 2007 and onwards. The CPs mainly categorized into homometallic heterometallic compounds; additional parameters such metal ligand selection for CP are discussed a more detailed look each system.

The facile copper-catalyzed synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles from aldehydes, amines, and β-nitroalkenes is reported. Abstract A series of new ( N′ ‐substituted)‐hydrazo‐4‐aryl‐1,4‐dihydropyridines was successfully synthesized via a facile one‐pot catalytic pathway utilizing azines and propiolate esters as starting materials one‐dimensional copper benzotriazole‐based coordination polymer catalyst.
