We demonstrate a high dynamic range Josephson parametric amplifier (JPA) in which the active nonlinear element is implemented using an array of rf-SQUIDs. The device matched to 50 Ω environment with Klopfenstein-taper impedance transformer and achieves bandwidth 250–300 MHz input saturation powers up −95 dBm at 20 dB gain. A 54-qubit Sycamore processor was used benchmark these devices, providing calibration for readout power, estimation added noise, platform comparison against standard...

Electric field optimization is a critical technique to ensure the compact structure and reliable operation for AC gas insulated power apparatus. To obtain more uniform electric distribution, this paper proposes concept of d-SFGM insulator, i.e., applying surface functionally graded material (SFGM) with designed thickness (d) distribution high permittivity along insulator surface. The magnetron sputtering was used fabricate d-uniform by depositing BaTiO <sub...

HVDC extruded cable is the key equipment of flexible DC transmission technology. However, interface charge between different dielectrics easy to accumulate in accessories due discontinuity conductivity and permittivity, which will threaten safety system. The injection transportation behaviors space ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)/low-density polyethylene (LDPE) bi-layer were simulated by using a bipolar transport model with characteristics including surface states, barrier carrier...

Insulators in the HV power equipment are threatened by surface charge accumulation, which can distort local electric field, make an early insulation aging and even lead to a flashover accident worst case. This study tries modify dynamic behaviors of accumulation decay introducing nonlinear conductivity into insulating material. The relationship between field- dependent dynamics zinc oxide (ZnO)/silicone rubber composites (SiRCs) was investigated this paper. results showed that with increase...
