Relevance. Solid solutions Bi2 (Te1-xSex )3 are effective materials for an n-leg of thermoelectric cooling devices. Recently, concentration anomalies properties with a low impurity content were detected in these solid (x ~0.01). It is important to establish whether similar would be observed on the dependence thermal conductivity λ from composition solution, since one parameters that determine quality factor material. Purpose. The purpose this study was investigate dependences solution...

The existence of a range an anomalous growth in charge carrier mobility under the transition to heavy doping is established for Bi2Te3 -Sb2Te3 solid solutions. This confirms our suggestion about universal character critical phenomena accompanying from impurity discontinuum continuum. experimental results are analyzed terms percolation theory taking into account alloy scattering and spatial correlations centers.

Today, solid solutions based on antimony and bismuth tellurides are among the most widely used materials for p-legs of thermoelectric converters at room temperature below. This paper presents results a study galvanomagnetic properties (electrical conductivity σ, Hall coefficient RH, mobility charge carriers μH) (Bi1-хSbх)2Te3 in range compositions close to pure telluride (x = 1 – 0.96) temperatures T 80 K 300 K. The was carried out cast polycrystalline samples obtained by method...
