This work analyzed changes in the corrosion morphology and mechanical performance of 7085 aluminum alloy after outdoor exposures for different times a humid hot marine atmospheric environment. After one month exposure, pronounced was observed. The product mainly Al(OH)3, features were pitting intergranular (IGC). With exposure time extended from 6 months to 12 months, IGC depth increased 114 μm 190 μm. 1-year environment, alloy’s ultimate strength yield stress remained nearly unchanged,...

This study aimed to investigate the impact of corrosion on microstructure and tensile properties 7075 high-strength alloy. It involved outdoor exposure tests in an actual marine atmospheric environment Wanning, Hainan Province. The results showed that alloy was corroded rapidly environment, pits intergranular cracks were generated. extended along grain boundary during corrosion, leading exfoliation matrix. cause for discussed based characteristics gradually deteriorated with increase time...

In this study, we employed the first-principles method based on density functional theory to calculate elastic constants, bulk modulus, shear Young’s Poisson’s ratio, and of states for both cubic tetragonal phases Pb(ZrxTi1−x)O3. The structural model Pb(ZrxTi1−x)O3 was established using virtual crystal approximation (VCA). Our results demonstrate that VCA-calculated properties are in excellent agreement with other theoretical predictions experimental data. As Zr content increases, lattice...

Actual marine atmospheric pre-corrosion behavior and its effect on the fatigue performance of 7075-T73 aluminum alloy were studied by means outdoor exposure testing testing. The surface cross-sectional microstructures specimens after different numbers days analyzed. Localized pitting, intergranular exfoliation corrosion occurred during in a atmosphere. degree severity increased with increasing duration exposure. effects Fe-rich constituent particles (Al23CuFe4) grain boundary precipitates...

The actual marine corrosion behavior and tensile properties of 2195 alloy 2297 in T8 state were studied by means environment outdoor exposure testing. cross-sectional macro morphologies the alloys after for different times analyzed. results indicated that possessed poor marine-corrosion resistance rapidly corroded an environment. grain-interior (GIC) was main mechanism alloy, leading a lot corrosive holes. Moreover, reasons GIC discussed through microstrcuture analysis. Additionally, trend...
