This study evaluates the antimicrobial efficacy of chitosan nanoparticles (CNP), varying in size, against E. coli, S. aureus, faecalis, C. albicans, and clinical isolates Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), as well effects aqueous extracts lyophilized powders Allium (garlic) species. CNP were synthesized through ionotropic gelation characterized by Z potential, hydrodynamic diameter (Dynamic Light Scattering, DLS) SEM. Aqueous garlic prepared via decoction. We assessed activity using disk...

Approximately 39 million people worldwide live with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and antiretroviral therapy (ART) has improved life expectancy for these individuals, quality of (QoL) being a crucial aspect. However, there is limited information on oral health-related (OHRQoL) institutionalized patients HIV. This study used cross-sectional design included 43 residents non-governmental institution who had confirmed HIV diagnosis history intravenous drug use. The Spanish version the Oral...

The dermoid cyst considered a cystic teratoma derived from embryonic germinal epithelium is slow-growing benign tumour. Dermoid cysts may occur in the orbital and periorbital region paediatric patients are often recurrent. surgical approach depends upon site of lesion, superficial or deep. To our knowledge, this first described case patient with resection treated human amniotic membrane implant topical application 0.02% mitomycin C. We present 12-year-old male tumour superotemporal right eye...

In research on natural molecules with cytotoxic activity that can be used for the development of new anticancer agents, hexane, chloroform, and methanol extracts from roots Acacia schaffneri against colon, lung, skin cancer cell lines was explored. The hexane extract showed best an average IC50 10.6 µg mL−1. From this extract, three diterpenoids, phyllocladan-16α,19-diol (1), phyllocladan-16α-ol (2), phylloclad-16-en-3-ol (3), were isolated characterized by their physical spectroscopic...

(1) Background: Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) is a bacterium that causes disease. One of its proteins, MAP3773c, involved in iron metabolism and acts as transcription factor. Our goal to investigate the binding MAP3773c protein 2 sites chromatin ferroportin1 gene mouse macrophages J774 A.1. (2) Methods: We performed sequence alignment, then docking, EMSA analyze vitro we cloning map3773c pCDNA3.1 perform transfection macrophages, expression by Western blotting PCR real...

Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) is known to cause paratuberculosis. One notable protein, MAP3773c, plays a critical role in iron metabolism as transcription factor. This study aims investigate the binding affinity of MAP3773c chromatin Ferroportin1 (FPN1) gene murine macrophage J774 A.1. We conducted sequence alignment identify potential interaction sites for MAP3773c. Following this, we used silico analysis predict interactions, complemented by electrophoretic mobility...

This variation do the lack of normative data for population and application norms English-speakers, increasing probability misidentification NCI. Thus, recognizing which are best available Mexican is important accurate identification The aim present study was investigate rate pattern HIV associated...
