Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common diseases affecting older people; however, there remains no effective targeted drug to combat OA. The aims this study were (1) explore effect T140 in regulating degeneration articular cartilage vivo by blocking SDF-1/CXCR4 signaling pathway, and (2) provide experimental evidence for development a novel OA-targeted pharmacotherapy. Thirty-six healthy Hartley guinea pigs randomly divided into three groups: T140-treated group (n = 12), phosphate...

The "Anchang" Group Prescription (ACZF), based on the traditional Bai Tou Weng Decoction and Si Jun Zi Decoction, has demonstrated clinical efficacy in alleviating symptoms of radiation enteritis (RE). Nevertheless, precise active components their underlying molecular mechanisms ACZF's effect RE require further elucidation. This investigation seeks to delineate explore by which ACZF mitigates RE, utilizing both network pharmacology experimental approaches provide a solid theoretical base for...

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic joint function disorder with characteristics of chondrocytes reduction and extracellular matrix (ECM) components destruction. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) the SDF-1/CXCR4 axis are essential factors chondrocyte apoptosis ECM degeneration. However, very few studies have investigated correlation between miRNAs in osteoarthritis so far. Here, through microarray bioinformatics analyses, we identified miR-142-5p as CXCR4-targeted dramatically downregulated miRNA cartilage...

Osteoarthritis (OA) is an aseptic inflammatory disease which associated with the stromal cell‑derived factor 1/C‑X‑C chemokine receptor type 4 (SDF‑1/CXCR4) axis. Accumulating studies have identified numbers of microRNAs (miRNAs) that serve important roles in pathogenesis OA. However, whether and how inhibition SDF‑1/CXCR4 axis induces alterations miRNA expression remains largely unclear. profiling was performed OA chondrocytes stimulated SDF‑1 alone, or CXCR4 antagonist TN14003 by...

We have previously identified a zinc finger transcription factor, ZNF24 (zinc protein 24), as novel inhibitor of tumor angiogenesis and demonstrated that exerts this effect by repressing the VEGF in breast cancer cells. Here we focused on role modulating angiogenic potential endothelial compartment. Knockdown siRNA human primary microvascular cells (ECs) led to significantly decreased cell migration invasion compared with control siRNA. knockdown consistently impaired receptor 2 (VEGFR2)...

Ferroptosis and dysregulation of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) have been described to be strictly relevant the pathogenesis osteoarthritis (OA). However, connection between ferroptosis lncRNA in OA is poorly appreciated. Herein, we investigated functional contribution markers correlated with progression human by comprehensive bioinformatics analysis a panoramic network competing endogenous (ceRNA) based on ferroptosis-related genes (FRGs).FRGs-related networks were generated using...

Abstract Background Varieties of animals were used to study osteoarthritis pathogenesis. The Diannan small-ear pig, which is native Yunnan, China, thought have an articular anatomy similar that humans and more likely be a source pathological tissues than other animals. aim this was determine whether animal can serve as effective model explore the role SDF-1/CXCR4 signaling pathway in development Osteoarthritis Methods Twenty-seven adult pigs randomly divided into three groups underwent Hulth...

Abstract Background This study aimed to investigate the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) at microRNA target sequence in CXCR4 and susceptibility knee osteoarthritis (KOA). Methods A total of 305 patients with KOA healthy controls were recruited into this study. The genotypes rs1804029 rs17848060 loci analyzed. Results G allele carriers was 1.33 times (95% CI: 1.09‐1.54, P = .006) that T carriers. individuals carrying locus 1.38 1.17‐1.57, < .001)....

Tendon cysts of the iliopsoas muscle cause pain and snapping hip. These are close to femoral nerve blood vessels, risk open surgery is high, with cyst recurrence occurring frequently. We describe a method hip arthroscopy for orderly excision cysts. During operation, tendon identified released, excised, peritendinous osteophytes formed successively. This technique minimally invasive, safe, highly effective that addresses both intra- extra-articular lesions.
