In present work, we investigate production of magnesium by carbothermic reduction under vacuum conditions. The process was divided into two parts, one is process, and the other condensation process. experimental results revealed that during gas–solid reaction between MgO CO not occurred at a temperature pressure 1723 K 30–100 Pa respectively. Two new benzocarbaporphyrins with four or five alkyl substituents have been synthesized by the "3 + 1" MacDonald methodology. At lower temperatures, proton NMR spectrum of asymmetrically substituted carbaporphyrin 8 gave two NH resonances, while 9, which retains a plane symmetry, only one resonance this kind.
