The onset of leaf de-greening and senescence is governed by a complex regulatory network including environmental cues internal factors such as transcription (TFs) phytohormones, in which ethylene (ET) one key inducer. However, the detailed mechanism ET signalling for regulation still largely unknown. Here, we found that WRKY TF SbWRKY50 from Sorghum bicolor L., direct target component ETHYLENE INSENSITIVE 3 signalling, functioned repression. clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic...

To assess the risk factors associated with H. pylori infection in urban Chinese population. The study was conducted from March to November 2023, including 12,902 participants aged 18-60 years across 52 cities distributed over 26 provinces China. Risk included socioeconomic status, lifestyles, and public understanding. Univariate multivariate logistic regression analysis used calculate corrected odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs). According regression, significantly higher rates...

Soda saline-alkali soil has double adverse effects on growth, morphogenesis and yield of the crops by creating a salinity stress high pH value in rhizosphere surroundings plant. Seed priming can be an effective approach to enhance adaptation seedlings growing stressed conditions. The present study examined role hydropriming comprehensive seed with ZnSO4, CaCl2, betaine hydrochloride GA3 soda tolerance soybeans (Glycine max [L.] Merr.) seedlings. An unprimed control treatment was also...

Abstract Microwave processing has attracted much attention in the field of cereal due to its positive effect on improving nutritional quality cereals and prolonging shelf life food. (MW) treatment (600 W, 6 min) was studied evaluate physicochemical properties vitro digestibility three kinds sorghum ( Sorghum bicolor [L . ] Moench ) starch, including Longmiliang No. 1 (LML1), Longza 13 (LZ13), Hongnuo (HN). After microwave treatment, contents insoluble dietary fiber, soluble fiber total were...

Potential dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) inhibitory oligopeptides from sorghum kafirin were developed using in silico and vitro methodologies for the management of diabetes. Twenty-eight peptides with 5-10 residues identified papain hydrolysates kafirin. Sixteen nontoxic DPP-IV screened a computer method based on molecular docking. Molecular docking revealed that LPFYPQ (LP6), GPVTPPILG (GP9), LPFYPQGV (LP8) effectively inactivated by binding to its active sites low interaction energy. An...

The quality and yields of Sorghum bicolo r plants are seriously affected by saline-alkali conditions. NAC (NAM, ATAF, CUC) transcription factors plant specific have various functions in development response to stresses. To investigate how GsNAC2 sorghum responses treatment, the characteristics were analysed bioinformatics methods, NaHCO3 :Na2 CO3 (5:1, 75mM, pH 9.63) stress solution was applied when 2weeks old. research results show that belongs gene family. significantly induced treatment...

Diabetes often leads to microvascular complications, including nephropathy, neuropathy, and retinopathy. Understanding the impact of early-life factors like birth weight modifiable behaviors such as cardiovascular health (CVH) is essential for preventing these complications. We included 11,515 participants with diabetes but without complications at baseline from UK Biobank Study. CVH was evaluated using Life's Essential 8 score. Independent joint associations were analyzed Cox proportional...

Abstract 4‐Hydroxy‐2,5‐dimethyl‐3(2H)‐furanone (HDMF) is a flavor compound widely found in natural products and used food as flavor‐enhancing agent. Quinone oxidoreductase (QOR) was verified key enzyme to synthesize HDMF strawberry, while its impact on production by Zygosaccharomyces rouxii still unknown. The QOR gene cloned overexpressed Z. , then further analyzed. At the same time, it expected obtain engineered strains of with high production. results showed that exhibit different levels...
