This is a case report of an adult with chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH) who underwent endovascular treatment for middle meningeal artery (MMA) embolization. There was prominent meningo-ophthalmic branch absence ophthalmic from the internal carotid artery. MMA embolization performed utilizing particles no complications and resolution cSDH within 4 months. demonstrates that despite extreme variant anatomy, feasible, effective, safe when appropriate techniques are used.
Rigid occipitocervical (O-C) instrumentation can reduce the anterior pathology and has a high fusion rate in children with craniovertebral instability. Typically, axis (C2) screw fixation utilizes C1-C2 transarticular screws or C2 pars screws. However, anatomic variation may preclude these types due to size of elements by placing vertebral artery at risk for injury. Pediatric translaminar low injury be used when anatomy is otherwise unsuitable screws. We retrospectively reviewed neurosurgical...
