Abstract The impact of nanotechnology in the field agricultural sciences creates need to study greater detail effect products offering nanoparticles for application plant species interest. objective this was determine response stevia ( Stevia rebaudiana B.) vitro different concentrations AgNPs (silver nanoparticles), as well characterize and identify their absorption, translocation accumulation mechanisms. Nodal segments grown MS medium supplemented with (0,12.5, 25, 50,100 200 mg L −1 )...

The lipid composition of three high-fat fishes (sardines, mackerel, and salmon) was analyzed to study the effect deep-fat frying with sunflower oil warmholding (65 °C, 3 h). Only sardines increased total fat content cooking. Saturated fatty acids decreased, especially in mostly because palmitic acid reduction. Raw mackerel presented an important ω-3 polyunsaturated (24.0 16.6 g/100 g fat, respectively), but it decreased significantly during (6.6 5.4 respectively). Salmon, despite having...

Hormesis is considered a dose-response phenomenon characterized by growth stimulation at low doses and inhibition high doses. The hormetic response silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) on in vitro multiplication of sugarcane was evaluated using temporary immersion system.Sugarcane shoots were used as explants cultured Murashige Skoog medium with AgNPs concentrations 0, 25, 50, 100, 200 mg/L. Shoot rate length to determine response. Total content phenolic compounds sugarcane, mineral nutrition,...

As an alternative to conventional lighting systems, light emitting diode (LED) has been demonstrated be artificial flexible source for commercial micropropagation. The objective of this study was determine the effects different LED quality on in vitro shoot proliferation and growth Vanilla planifolia. To evaluate proliferation, axillary bud cuttings (3 5 mm diameter) V. planifolia were used as explants cultivated Murashige Skoog basal medium supplemented with 9.55 µM 6-benzylaminopurine....

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) display unique biological activities and may serve as novel biostimulators. Nonetheless, their biostimulant effects on germination, early growth, major nutrient concentrations (N, P, K) in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) have been little explored.Tomato seeds of the Vengador Rio Grande cultivars were germinated filter paper inside plastic containers presence 0, 5, 10, 20 mg/L AgNPs. Germination parameters recorded daily, while growth traits seedlings determined...

The symbiotic associations between arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and plants can induce drought stress tolerance. In this study, we evaluated the effect of Glomus intraradices, a fungus, on ex vitro development survival sugarcane plantlets subjected to during acclimatization stage micropropagation. obtained (Saccharum spp. cv Mex 69–290) were inoculated with different doses G. intraradices (0, 100, 200 spores per plantlet) greenhouse acclimatization. Sixty days after inoculation,...

Silicon (Si) is a beneficial element that has been proven to influence plant responses including growth, development and metabolism in hormetic manner. In the present study, we evaluated effect of Si on growth concentrations chlorophylls, total amino acids, sugars pepper plants (Capsicum annuum L.) during early developmental stage hydroponic system under conventional (unstressed) conditions. We tested four (applied as calcium silicate): 0, 60, 125 250 mg L-1, variables were measured 7, 14, 21...

Water pressure is one of the most important factors which influence final quality espresso coffee (EC). However, few studies dealing with this issue have been found. The aim work was to study effect water on Arabica ECs as well classify prepared at different pressures (7, 9, and 11 atm) according their physicochemical sensory characteristics, key odorants, by means multivariate analysis. Statistically, principal component 1 (PC1) separated 7 9 atm from included main foam taste...
