During our screening program for agrochemicals from Chinese medicinal herbs and wild plants, the essential oil of Carum carvi fruits was found to possess strong contact toxicity against Sitophilus zeamais Tribolium castaneum adults, with LD50 values 3.07 3.29 mg/adult, respectively, also showed fumigant two grain storage insects LC50 3.37 2.53 mg/L, respectively. The obtained by hydrodistillation investigated GC GC-MS. main components were identified be (R)-carvone (37.98%) D-limonene...
In our screening program for new agrochemicals from Chinese medicinal herbs and wild plants, Zanthoxylum schinifolium essential oils were found to possess strong insecticidal activity against the maize weevil Sitophilus zeamais. The of Z. fruits leaves extracted via hydrodistillation investigated by GC GC-MS. Estragole (69.52%) was major compound oil fresh fruits, followed linalool (8.63%) limonene (4.34%) 94.33% total components monoterpenoids. main (12.94%), ar-tumerone (8.95%), (6.45%)...
Exploring the transcriptome of crops in response to warming and elevated CO2 (eCO2) is important gaining insights botanical adaption feedback climate change. This study deployed Illumina sequencing technology characterize transcriptomic profile maize plants at silking stage, which were grown under (2 °C higher than ambient temperature) eCO2 (550 ppm) conditions. The treatment temperature concentration was considered as control (CK). Warming, plus resulted 2732, 1966 271 genes expressing...
Warming and elevated CO2 (eCO2) may influence the input of photosynthetic carbon (C) into soils subsequent soil C storage. The biochemical properties vary among soils, which likely act different roles in fate sequestration response to warming eCO2. However, interactive effects climate change types on retained relevant mechanisms are poorly understood. We performed a pot experiment open-top chambers examine eCO2 (550 ppm) combined with temperature (eT, 2 °C higher than air temperature)...
Abstract Climate change may fundamentally affect the microorganisms in rhizosphere that drive soil C and nutrient cycles. This study aimed to clarify response of rhizobacterial community warming elevated CO 2 (eCO ) typical maize ( Zea mays L.)‐growing soils. Under climate change, shift composition was assumed be different among soils, which would associated with sequestration stability Using open‐top chambers mimic eCO , we examined taxonomic bacterial communities grown four farming soils...
Experimental platform of Open-top chambers (OTC) was established in 2006 over a spring wheat system, it located at the National Field Observation and Research Station Shenyang Agro-ecosystems, member Chinese Ecosystem Network (CERN) 1987. We compared dynamics soil microbial biomass C with high (225.0 kg N hm-2) low (150 application rate chemical fertilizer exposed to elevated CO2, O3, CO2 plus O3 CK after growing season 2010. The results showed that under concentration jointing stage,...
Experimental platform of free-air CO2 enrichment (FACE) was established in mid June 2004 over a rice-wheat rotation ecosystem located at suburb Jiangdu, China. We compared the dynamics soil neutral sugars from wheat field with high (225.0 kg N/hm2) and low (112.5 levels N fertilization exposed to elevated ambient after growing season 2008. The results showed that glucose sugar accounted for majority total irrespective fertilization. Compared treatments, increased amount irrespectively...
The complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Poecilocoris druraei was sequenced and analyzed. 16,524 bp mitogenome P. contained 21 tRNA genes, two rRNA 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), a control region. Most PCGs used standard ATG start codons TAA ermination codons. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that is closed related with nepalensis.
