Orthopaedic patients are at risk of delirium, which is managed according to the mnemonic PINCHME and involves monitoring hydration. Fluid balance measures hydration, therefore, we aimed improve fluid documentation using ward round plans, posters, mini multidisciplinary team meetings. Results demonstrated improved for with delirium from 63.33% 100%. The most significant intervention was meetings, may also reduce rates however further work required.
