Abstract In this article we review research on Chinese guanxi and social networking in the past twenty years identify major perspectives, theories, methodologies used at micro macro levels. We summarize main findings of over 200 journal articles terms its conceptual definitions measurements, antecedents consequences, dynamics processes.
