The pyrolysis behaviors of Qingdao vacuum residue (QD-VR) and its SARA (saturates, aromatics, reins, asphaltenes) fractions were evaluated by thermo-gravimetric with mass spectrometer (TG-MS). kinetics determined Friedman, one-parallel four-parallel distributed activation energy model (DAEM), respectively. results indicated that the behavior QD-VR was similar to aromatics. For saturates, release H2, CH4, CO, CO2 occurred in 80–400 °C, while temperature range for other is 200–800 °C. average...
Abstract Cry11Aa and Cry11Ba are the two most potent toxins produced by mosquitocidal Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis jegathesan , respectively. The naturally crystallize within host; however, crystals too small for structure determination at synchrotron sources. Therefore, we applied serial femtosecond crystallography X-ray free electron lasers to in vivo-grown nanocrystals of these toxins. was determined de novo using single-wavelength anomalous dispersion method, which turn...
Propanethiol (PT) is a hazardous pollutant that poses risks to both the environment and human well-being.
While it is known that lipids play an essential role in regulating membrane protein structure and function, remains challenging to identify specific protein–lipid interactions.
Constitutive lignin phenolic monomers have gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential applications the production of high-value chemicals. However, generating remains challenging, as lignin, precursor, is hard depolymerize. In this work, we introduce a novel depolymerization strategy combining mechanochemistry and enzymes depolymerize into monomers. Both model natural compounds were successfully converted active by using strategy. The first subjected ball mill...
Activation of G-protein-gated inwardly rectifying potassium channels (Kir3.x) requires the direct binding phosphorylated phosphatidylinositides (PIPs). Previous studies have established that PIP isoforms activate Kir to varying degrees and affinity between PIPs Kir3.2 appears be correlated with level activation. However, how individual residues contribute selectivity toward is poorly understood. Here, we employ native mass spectrometry (MS) fluorescent lipid assays gain insight into...
Understanding the molecular driving forces that underlie membrane protein-lipid interactions requires characterization of their binding thermodynamics. Here, we employ variable-temperature native mass spectrometry to determine thermodynamics lipid events human G-protein-gated inward rectifier potassium channel, Kir3.2. The channel displays distinct thermodynamic strategies engage phosphatidylinositol (PI) and phosphorylated forms thereof. addition a 4'-phosphate PI results in an increase...
This study utilizes mechanochemistry to prepare retinol acetate (RA) solid dispersion (RA-sodium starch octenyl succinate (SSOS)), resulting in improved solubility, stability, and bioavailability compared with raw RA commercial microcapsules. RA, poloxamer 188, SSOS, milling beads (8 mm) were mixed a ratio of 2:1:8:220 (w/w) ball-milled at 100 rpm for 3 h. RA-SSOS exhibited solubility 1020.35 μL/mL 98.09% retention rate after aging 30 °C. Rats fed showed an ∼30% increase organ content....
Ma bamboo shoots (Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro) are widely distributed in southern China and play an important role as a valuable natural resource. However, the inherent odor produced during fermentation is not accepted by most consumers, which limits use of fermented popular foods. Therefore, reducing still bottleneck problem processing. In general, indigenous microorganisms formation volatile compounds various products. change microbial diversity was studied to establish relationship...
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an endogenous, lipophilic quinone compound that functions as electron carrier in the mitochondrial respiratory chain and plays a pivotal role cell metabolism. Despite its numerous important physiological functions, practical application of CoQ10 limited due to high molecular weight, poor water solubility, photolability, chemical instability, low bioavailability. To overcome these challenges, we developed solid dispersion formulation protamine loaded (CoQ10/Pr) using...
