The effect of hydraulic retention time (HRT) on biohydrogen production from glucose in an internal circulation (IC) reactor with granular sludge as inoculants was studied. A maximum hydrogen-production rate (HPR) 10.78 ± 0.84 L–1d–1 at HRT 2 h and a hydrogen yield (HY) 1.4 0.21 mol mol–1 3 were achieved. With no external pH adjustment, the effluent maintained 5.16–3.71 under carbonate buffer substrate. Regardless different HRTs, ethanol predominant metabolite accounted for 36.59–48.98% total...
To investigate the feasibility of expanded granular sludge blanket (EGSB) reactor for treatment high-strength sulfate wastewater, effect EGSB treating wastewater was investigated fed with xylose wastewater. Results showed that could be started up successfully in 21 d inoculated anaerobic when influent chemical oxygen demand (COD)/SO 4 2-ratio 3.5.The a good performance during steady-state period, loading rate 21.6 kg COD m -3 -1 and 6.2 SO 2-m , respectively, removal efficiency about 83%,...
Nitrate pollution is a major environmental problem threatening rivers, and nitrogen oxygen isotopes have proved to be an effective means of analyzing the sources transformations nitrate in rivers. However, low monitoring frequency cannot accurately reflect changes nitrate. In this study, middle reaches Yellow River its tributaries during dry season wet were analyzed based on water quality parameters isotopes. Stable isotope analysis conducted using R (SIAR) model was used estimate...

Abstract
The operation of the reservoirs in Water-Sediment Regulation Scheme (WSRS) controls inflow water and sediment to lower Yellow River (LYR). This scheme lead complex effects on nutrient distribution space time, due interactions among main river channel its tributaries. Twelve observation points were set up from Xiaolangdi (XLD) Estuary (YRE) during June August 2023. These sites tasked with monitoring levels nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P) across three stages: include...
An internal circulation (IC) using hydrogen-producing anaerobic granular sludge as seed and beer wastewater substrate was employed to evaluate the effect of hydrogen production performance reactor. Running at temperature 35±1 °C, pH value influent controlled is 5.5 organic loading rate (OLR) from 30 kg COD/(m3●d) 42 COD/(m3●d), IC reactor presents a high ability (HPR) maximized 6.0-6.83 m3/(m3●d). Hydrogen volume content estimated be 42-46% total biogas free methane throughout study. COD...

Background
We tested the hypothesis that circulating tumour cells (CTCs) in preoperative peripheralblood (PPB) and intraoperative pulmonary venous blood (IPVB) could predict poor long term survival surgically resected NSCLC patients.
Method
CTCs were separated from using magnetic beads coated by antibody against epithelial-cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) through activated cell sorting (MACS). The quantified with fluorescence labelled antibodies pan-cytokeratin flow...
