Cationic carbosilane dendrimers of generations 1–3 have been synthesized employing thiol–ene click chemistry. The obtained present three different types ammonium functions, two them with the charge at surface, –NH3+ and –NMe3+, other internalized by presence ethylalcohol moieties, –[NMe2(CH2CH2OH)]+. influence –NMe3+ –[NMe2(CH2CH2OH)]+ in dendrimer structure studied molecular dynamics. antibacterial properties these families evaluated against Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus CECT 240)...
Carbosilane-based ruthenium dendrimers have been tested as anticancer agents. These metallodendrimers are active against a number of cisplatin resistant cell lines in the low micromolar range while showing dendritic effect.
Anionic carbosilane dendrons decorated with sulfonate functions and one thiol moiety at the focal point have been used to synthesize water-soluble gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) through direct reaction of dendrons, precursor, reducing agent in water, also a place-exchange reaction. These characterized by NMR spectroscopy, TEM, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), UV/Vis elemental zeta-potential measurements. The interacting ability anionic was investigated EPR...
Candida spp. are one of the most common fungal pathogens. Biofilms formed by Candidaalbicans offer resistance mechanisms against antifungal agents. Therefore, development new molecules effective these microorganisms, alone or in combination with drugs, is extremely necessary. In present work, we carried out a screening process different cationic carbosilane dendritic C. albicans. vitro activity biofilm formation and biofilms was tested both Colección Española de Cultivos Tipo (CECT) 1002...
This paper presents a current controller that shapes, in the frequency domain, input admittance of voltage-source converters connected to grid. The is obtained by means H ∞ synthesis procedure, which minimizes difference between application closed-loop and model-reference defined designer. formulation achieves good accuracy both modulus phase. proposed methodology allows fulfilment other...
SUMMARY Amoebae were isolated from contact lenses of a symptomatic lens wearer in Spain. Protozoa characterized by studying their morphology, biology, protease activity and the 18S rRNA gene sequence. Morphology organism was observed light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy transmission microscopy. Its structure corresponded to an amphizoic amoeba. The protozoa grew well at 37 °C poorly lower temperatures. In addition, it capable lysing mammalian cells vitro . A major 56 kDa...
