An even (resp. odd) lollipop is the coalescence of a cycle length and path with pendant vertex as distinguished vertex. It known that odd determined by its spectrum question asked W. Haemers, X. Liu Y. Zhang for lollipop. A private communication Behruz Tayfeh-Rezaie pointed out an at least $6$ but result lollipops $4$ still unknown. We give unified proof not equal to $4$, generalize it therefore answer question. Our essentially based on method counting closed walks.

We propose an analysis of the codified Law France as a structured system. Fifty two legal codes are selected on basis explicit criteria and considered vertices with their mutual quotations forming edges in network which properties analyzed relying graph theory. find that group 10 simultaneously most citing cited by other codes, also strongly connected together so "rich club" sub-graph. Three code communities found somewhat partition field is distinct thematic sub-domains. The interpretation...

Several matrices can be associated to a graph such as the adjacency matrix or Laplacian matrix. The spectrum of these gives some informations about structure and question ''Which graphs are determined by their spectrum?'' remains difficult problem in algebraic theory. In this article we enlarge known families considering unicyclic graphs. An odd (resp. even) sun is obtained appending pendant vertex each an cycle. A broken deleting vertices sun. paper prove that its spectrum,...

A disjoint union of complete graphs is in general not determined by its Laplacianspectrum. It shown this paper that if one only considers the family without isolated vertex, then a Laplacian spectrum within family. Moreover, it two with and b vertices, a/b > 5/3 >1 spectrum. counter-example given when = .

In this paper, we use graph theory to explore concepts of influence in socialized groups. When analyzing social networks, centrality indicators make it possible assess the power an individual. We discuss various and focus on degree betweenness. After observing a strong correlation between them, propose defining new assessments based decorrelation method that characterize from different mathematical perspectives (algebraic, probabilistic, statistical). apply theoretical framework network...

In order to compare social organization of a medieval peasantry before and after the Hundred Years' War we study sructure networks built from corpus agrarian contracts. Low diameters high clusterings show small-world graphs. Like many other studied these last years graphs are scale-free. The distributions vertex degrees fitted by truncated power law. Moreover they have rich-club : dense core with low diameter consisting vertices degree. particular shape laplacian spectrum allows us extract...
