Unrefined, refined and refined-deodorized cottonseed oils from pressing or extraction technologies were screened using proton (1H) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). GC–MS of derivarized non-derivatized (intact oil) allowed detection nearly 100 compounds. These included fatty acids (FA), linoleic (relative percentage concentration 51–58%), palmitic (21–24%), oleic (18–23%) stearic (1.8–2.2%) in hydrolysed oils, β-sitosterol (31–43%),...
In the article, in order to identify role of mutations and polymorphisms endothelin-1 gene Lys198Asn development COPD, authors studied 49 patients with an established diagnosis COPD. The control group consisted 46 apparently healthy patients, comparable main terms age sex. study polymorphism was carried out by PCR, statistical analysis using software OpenEpi, Version 2.9. As a result, it found that heterozygous Lys / Asp genotype COPD 1.25 times more often than group. It mutational - 1.9 (RR...
Unrefined, refined and refined-deodorized cottonseed oils from pressing or extraction technologies were screened using NMR GC-MS. GC-MS of intact derivatized allowed tentative annotation ~100 compounds. These included fatty acids (FA), linoleic (51-57%), oleic (18-23%), palmitic (21-23%) stearic (2-2.2%) in hydrolysed oils, β-sitosterol (31-43%), free FA (7-34%), γ- α-tocopherol (11-22%), squalene (2-4%) oils. spectra contained 90 resonances dominated by methylene (41%), methyl (14%),...
