Chitosan-based active films were developed by incorporation of carvacrol (10 g/L), pomegranate peel extract (PPE, 10 g/L) and + PPE g/L each) their physical, antioxidant antimicrobial properties investigated. Incorporation into the significantly decreased water vapor permeability, tensile strength percentage elongation at break. carvacrol, transparency, but increased total phenol content activity. All films, with exception PPE-incorporated film, exhibited antibacterial activity against...

A simple approach to wafer-scale self-cleaning antireflective hierarchical silicon structures is demonstrated. By employing the KOH etching and silver catalytic etching, pyramidal were generated on crystalline wafer, which exhibit strong antireflection superhydrophobic properties after fluorination. Furthermore, a flexible substrate was fabricated by transferring Si structure NOA 63 film with UV-assisted imprint lithography. This method of potential application in optical, optoelectronic,...

It is demonstrated that silver nanoparticle (SNP) arrays fabricated by combining nanoimprint lithography and electrochemical deposition methods can be used as substrates for metal-enhanced fluorescence, which widely in optics, sensitive detection, bioimaging. The method presented here simple efficient at controlling the density interparticle distance within one array. Furthermore, it found fluorescence intensity tuned engineering feature size of SNP arrays. This due to different coupling...

We report a simple method for the fabrication of biomimetic antireflective hierarchical arrays based on combination self-assembled polymer spheres and nanoimprint lithography (NIL). The structures are fabricated by creating nanopillars microscale round protrusion arrays, which similar to natural mosquito eyes consisting combined micro- nanostructures. dramatically suppress surface reflection from visible near-infrared regions with an angle incidence up 70°.

A method for decreasing the lateral size of conducting polymer patterns is demonstrated. Up to 15–70% shrinkage can be achieved based on nanoimprint lithography and isotropic plasma etching (see image). The direct assembly silver nanoparticles. This a simple route patterning high-resolution polymers.

Abstract Accurate lineage tracing is crucial to understanding of developmental and stem cell biology, but particularly challenging for transient highly dispersive cell‐types like the neural crest (NC). The authors report in this article a new zebrafish transgenic line Tg(‐4725sox10:Cre) ba74 . This expresses Cre under control well‐characterized portion sox10 promoter and, by crossing floxed‐reporter line, show that expression consistent with those described GFP reporter lines using same...

A bio-inspired antireflective hetero-nanojunction structure has been fabricated by the hydrothermal growth of ZnO nanorods on silicon micro-pyramids. It shown that this suppresses light reflection more effectively resulting in a high photocurrent response and good charge separation simultaneously. The strategy provides means to enhance solar energy conversion.

854 Background: The question still remains for the presence of yet unknown genetic modifiers in initiation and/or progression bladder cancer (BC). It challenging to identify key factors, mechanism and potential target behind. A genome-wide CRISPR library colony formation assay was performed using UROtsa cells, an immortalized ureter epithelium cell line, order novel genes that promote transformation normal urothelial cells. As one top candidate genes, Prolactin Releasing Hormone Receptor...
