This work investigates the influence of doping type on dose responses and accumulated stability n- p-type silicon MCz diodes. The operating principle diode-based dosimeters relies measuring radiation-induced currents delivered by non-polarized diodes throughout exposure time. An electrometer promptly reads current signal, linearly rate dependent. offline integration signal provides charge generated in sensitive volume diode, expected to be proportional absorbed dose. experimental approach...
The dosimetric response of silicon diodes produced with distinct engineering technologies, Magnetic Czochralski (MCz), and standard Float Zone (Fz), has been investigated, aiming at their use for online dosimeters in gamma radiation processing applications. p + -n-n junction diodes, 300 µm thick an active area 25 mm 2 , are operated as the short-circuit current mode. In this case, key quantity is dose rate, which correlated output from diode subjected to radiation. Thus, obtained offline by...
This study investigates the high temperature oxidation behaviour of a Ni–20Cr-1.2Si (wt.%) alloy in steam from 1200 °C to 1350 by Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) and Diffraction (XRD). The results demonstrate that exposed Ni-based developed thin oxide scale, consisted mainly Cr2O3. kinetics obtained experimental was applied evaluate hydrogen generation considering simplified reactor core model with different...
In this work we describe the results obtained with S3590-06 and ion-implanted diodes for alpha particle spectrometry. Satellite peaks were also investigated in order to identify not only origin of these phenomena, but importance guard ring region on their relative intensities. The preliminary indicate that true cause spurious satellite might be associated weak electric fields around rings changes entrance window absorption near edge diodes. Further steps are needed clear up problem.

Maraging steels are martensitic hardened by precipitation during thermal aging, with good machining properties and high strength corrosion resistance. It is well suited for applications which require strength-to-weight material, being used in aerospace, aeronautics nuclear industries. A protective resistant oxide layer can be formed age hardening if treated steam atmosphere. This work aims to use grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXRD) evaluate qualitatively the thickness of layers this...
Coherent population trapping (CPT) of metal-alkali atoms is an interesting technique for the development compact atomic frequency references; it relies on excitation by two phase-coherent laser fields. The phase noise beatnote generated maximum −90 dBrad2/Hz with active stabilization, relative intensity (RIN) has been measured...
In this work, we demonstrate indeed that complex cascaded second-order nonlinear processes occurring inside the ppKTP crystal are responsible of KLM operation a sigma-polarized (lambda=1321nm) Nd:YLF/ppKTP ring laser, over full range temperature tuning.
