This review focuses on the issue of cadmium contamination in agricultural lands, a significant concern many developing countries, including Kazakhstan. Such is primarily linked to growth heavy industries mining regions, soil pollution from metallurgical plants, emissions vehicles, and widespread use phosphorus fertilizers pesticides containing cadmium. Heavy metals tend accumulate around large industrial hubs, contaminating soil, water, plants. These can then enter food chain via forage...

Background Iron deficiency is a well-known nutritional disorder, and the imbalance of trace-elements, specifically iron, most common nutrient foods across world, including in Kazakhstan. Wheat has significant relevance, especially provision however many bread wheat varieties have low iron despite need for human nourishment. In this study, expression profiles homologous genes related to homeostasis were investigated. The work resulted development two new M 5 mutant lines spring through...

Wheat is a major cereal crop for both human and animal nutrition, providing 28 % of the world's edible dry matter up to 60 daily calorie intake in developing countries. Across years, wheat breeding reduced its genetic diversity by replacing traditional cultivars with modern higher yielding varieties this has resulted decreased nutritional quality. Spring genetically stable mutant lines (M7 generation) produced on background cv. Eritrospermum-35 after 100 200 Gy gamma treatments broaden...

Stripe (yellow, YR) rust bringing about by fungal pathogen of Puccinia striforms Westend Westend. is a serious wheat disease that poses substantial threats to the global yield. Currently, appearance virulent fungus races overcomed restricted studed resistance genes wheat. Seach and identification new genetic sources with durable can allow efficiently incorporate these target into germplasm pools. To increase spring diversity, on back phone parental variety Kazakhstanskay-19 (WT)...

In numerous developing countries, including Kazakhstan, the issue of soil contamination with cadmium is prominent due to expansion mining and metallurgical sectors. A significant contributor pollution in widespread application phosphorus-based fertilizers pesticides that contain cadmium. Even trace amounts cadmium, accumulating soil, can decrease crop yields, impede plant growth, disrupt various physiological biochemical processes. Consequently, this study aimed identify cadmium-resistant...

The content of heavy metals around the metallurgical plants East Kazakhstan in soil and growing these was studied. It determined concentration soils, plant organs, it calculated bioconcentration factor level extraction by sunflower lawn grasses. study grasses showed that studied species accumulated a significant amount mainly roots. Sunflower had high accumulation activity their organs. Determination removal from soil, which indicates degree phytoextraction species.

Heavy metals uptake, distribution and accumulation processes in plants are very important for their impact on physiological biochemical and, consequently, plant growth development. The of heavy parts cell organelles discussed. There detoxification mechanisms compartments, like binding with wall, organic acids vacuoles, complexes phytochelatins etc. What proportion given metal ions would be the free form, what – bound molecules; it depends from pH environment chemical properties element....
