This paper describes our recent study of glycosyl phosphites for glycosylation reactions, with particular emphasis on the investigation protecting group and stereochemistry effects anomeric reactivity stereoselectivity, application this methodology to synthesis Lewis X (Lex), Y (Ley), glycopeptides, sialyl (SLex) mimetics. Both α-O-fucosyl-l-threonine α-O-fucosyl-(1R,2R)-2-aminocyclohexanol were found be effective templates chemical/enzymatic SLex mimetics, some fucopeptides prepared 5−10...

We report herein the design, synthesis, and in vitro anti‐tumor activities of a series 1,2,3‐triazole‐tetraethylene glycol tethered heteronuclear bis‐Schiff base derivatives isatin. Our results indicated that all synthesized bases except 9e showed considerable anticancer against HepG2, Hela, HCT‐116, A549, MCF‐7 human cancer cell lines with IC 50 range 9.79–48.75 μM were more potent than etoposide A549 lines. In particular, most 9g (IC : 9.79–29.64 μg/mL) was highly active five tested, could...

Fourteen benzofuran–isatin hybrids 6a – f and 7a h tethered via alkyl linker (pentylene hexylene) were designed synthesized, 6c screened for their in vitro anticancer activity against various human cancer cell lines. The majority of the active tested cells, most 7g (half maximal inhibitory concentration/IC 50 : 77.2–88.9 μM) 7h (IC 65.4–89.7 μM), which possessed broad spectrum as potent reference vorinostat 64.2–>100 all lines, could act leads further investigations. structure–activity...

Background Organoids, which enable disease modeling and drug screening closer to an in vivo environment, can be isolated grown from organs such as the brain, small intestine, kidney, lungs, liver. To facilitate establishment of liver intestinal organoids, we developed efficient protocols for cholangiocytes intestine crypts collecting organoid culturing. Methods Cholangiocytes were collected intrahepatic bile ducts, gallbladder, by gravity settling multistep centrifugation methods. The cells...

Two colorimetric sensors, derived from pentaerythrityltetramine and salicylaldehyde ( 1 ) or o -vanillin 2 ), had been synthesized. Both sensors showed selective sensing ability for Fe (Ⅱ) (Ⅲ) by changing color light yellow to either orange purple when immersed in water samples. The coordinated with 1:1 stoichiometry, as has confirmed the results of LC-MS spectrometry UV-Vis spectrum titration. detection limits (0.19 μmol·L -1 (0.21 are lower than WHO guideline (5 drinking water.

The aim of this study was to prepare a stable oil-in-water emulsion by whey powder (WP)–maltodextrin (MD) at room temperature for further industrial processing. Due the weak surface activity WP and MD, diacetyl tartaric acid ester monoglycerides (DATEM) added system as an emulsifier effect DATEM concentration on properties WP–MD emulsions investigated. As increased, mean droplet size, zeta potential, tension, apparent viscosity, morphology changed significantly. Fourier transform infrared...
