A recently developed electro-optical Pockels effect technique, which allows the dynamic measurement of surface charge distributions, is employed to observe behaviour a partial discharge in point - dielectric gap. One period an 8 kV ac voltage applied needle electrode with gap spacings ranging from 0 7 mm. Different and different deposited distribution patterns are observed for spacings. The can be roughly divided into three regions, namely region, transition region space region. In both...

Dynamic observation of surface charge distribution is the main advantage electro-optical Pockels effect technique over dust figure technique, photographic Lichtenberg and static potential probe scanning method. This demonstrated here to observe deposited by partial discharge during application one period an 8 kV sinusoidal voltage a needle-dielectric plane electrode system with zero gap spacing. Polarity backdischarge are prominent in ac discharges. The observed polarity pattern shows that...

Abstact The effect of V 2 O 5 addition on molybdates crystallization tendency, glass structure and chemical durability aluminoborosilicate belonging to SiO -B 3 -CaO-Na O-Al -MoO system has been studied. results confirm that can effectively suppress the tendency powellite enhance molybdenum solubility in glass. MoO limit is found be 2.8 mol% -containing Raman reveal seems modify local structural environment isolated 4 units increase their disorder glass, which favored for incorporation molar...

The La2O3-doped basaltic glass simulated high-level waste form (HLW) was prepared by the solid-state melt method. La2O3 maximum loading and doping effect on structure, thermal stability, leaching behavior, density, hardness of glasses were studied. XRD SEM results show that in can be up to ~46 wt.%, apatite (CaLa4(SiO4)3O) precipitates when content reaches 56 wt.%. Raman indicate addition breaks Si–O–Si bond large-membered four-membered, but number A13+ involved formation network increase....
