An ideal composite film based on a carbon nanotube (CNT) array for thermal management applications is prepared using "in-situ injection molding". The aligned CNTs with their tips protruding out of both surfaces form conducting paths between surfaces. Much better conductivity improvements can be achieved at low CNT loadings compared dispersed composites.

DNA hydroxymethylation and its mediated demethylation are critical for multiple cellular processes, example, nuclear reprogramming, embryonic development, many diseases. Here, we demonstrate that a vital nutrient ascorbic acid (AA), or vitamin C (Vc), can directly enhance the catalytic activity of Tet dioxygenases oxidation 5-methylcytosine (5mC). As evidenced by changes in intrinsic fluorescence Tet2 protein caused AA oxidation-resistant derivatives, further show uniquely interact with...

N6-Methyladenosine (m6A) is the most prevalent internal modification that occurs in mRNA of eukaryotes and plays a vital role post-transcriptional regulation. Recent studies highlighted biological significance m6A nervous system, its dysregulation has been shown to be related degenerative neurodevelopmental diseases. Parkinson's disease (PD) common age-related neurological disorder with pathogenesis still not fully elucidated. Reports have epigenetic mechanisms including DNA methylation...

In this study, the gas-sensitive response of metal (Ag, Au, Pt)-modified SnS2 toward SF6 decomposition gases (SOF2, SO2F2, SO2, H2S) in gas-insulated switchgear was studied by analyzing adsorption structure, band charge transfer, and density states based on functional theory. The results show that four target pristine belongs to weak physical adsorption. Compared with SnS2, energy transition atom-modified monolayer has been improved a certain extent capacity these obviously improved....

Abstract Modulating effector immune cells via monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and facilitating the co-engagement of T tumor chimeric antigen receptor- or bispecific cell-engaging are two typical cancer immunotherapy approaches. We speculated that immobilizing types mAbs against on a single nanoparticle could integrate functions these approaches, as engineered formulation (immunomodulating nano-adaptor, imNA) potentially associate with both bridge them together like an ‘adaptor’ while...

Abstract Activation of the phagocytosis macrophages to tumor cells is an attractive strategy for cancer immunotherapy, but effectiveness limited by fact that many express increased level anti‐phagocytic signals (e.g., CD47 molecules) on their surface. To promote macrophages, a pro‐phagocytic nanoparticle (SNPA CALR&aCD47 ) concurrently carries antibody (aCD47) and molecule calreticulin (CALR) constructed simultaneously modulate phagocytic macrophages. SNPA can achieve targeted delivery...

Methyltransferase N6‑adenosine (METTL5) is a methyltransferase that specifically catalyzes 18S rRNA N6 methylation at adenosine 1832 (m6A1832), which located in critical position the decoding center, therefore suggesting its potential importance regulation of translation. However, underlying mechanism METTL5‑mediated translation specific genes and biological functions are largely undefined.
