State feedback stabilization for Boolean control networks is investigated in this technical note. Based on the algebraic representation of logical dynamics terms semi-tensor product matrices, a necessary and sufficient condition derived existence globally stabilizing state controller, general design approach proposed when global feasible via feedback. Instead designing form law directly, we first construct its then convert back to form. An example worked out illustrate procedure.

We examine complete synchronization of two deterministic Boolean networks (BNs) coupled unidirectionally in the drive-response configuration. A necessary and sufficient criterion is presented terms algebraic representations BNs. As a consequence, we show that can occur only between conditionally identical BNs when transition matrix drive network nonsingular. Two examples are worked out to illustrate obtained results.

Background Single‐cell RNA‐sequencing (scRNA‐seq) is a rapidly evolving technology that enables measurement of gene expression levels at an unprecedented resolution. Despite the explosive growth in number cells can be assayed by single experiment, scRNA‐seq still has several limitations, including high rates dropouts, which result large genes having zero read count data, and complicate downstream analyses. Methods To overcome this problem, we treat zeros as missing values develop...

A major challenge in applying Bayesian tracking methods for 3D human body pose is the high dimensionality of state space. It has been observed that parameters typically can be assumed to lie on a low-dimensional manifold embedded high-dimensional The goal this work approximate so vector obtained efficient and effective tracking. To achieve goal, globally coordinated mixture factor analyzers learned from motion capture data. Each analyzer "locally linear reducer" approximates part manifold....

Consistency maintenance is a critical and challenging issue in many interactive groupware applications that can be modeled as group editors. This paper addresses two open consistency problems: divergence operation effects relation violation. While the former has been partly solved, latter never addressed any published work. We propose novel approach to solving both problems same framework. Particularly it preserves of concurrent operations so convergence achieved automatically. Our work...

Observability is a basic, yet challenging, issue when studying Boolean control networks (BCNs). Recently, criterion for observability of controllable BCNs was proposed by using the algebraic representation logical dynamics based on technique semi-tensor product matrices. In this paper, we present new necessary and sufficient conditions guaranteeing BCN without preassuming its controllability. The are hence more general. Some examples worked out to illustrate obtained results. Copyright ©...

We provide a general approach for the design of response Boolean network (BN) to achieve complete synchronization with given drive BN. The is based on algebraic representation BNs in terms semi-tensor product matrices. Instead designing logical dynamic equations BN directly, we first construct its and then convert back form. results are applied three-neuron order illustrate effectiveness proposed approach.

Curated taxonomies enhance the performance of machine-learning systems via high-quality structured knowledge. However, manually curating a large and rapidly-evolving taxonomy is infeasible. In this work, we propose Arborist, an approach to automatically expand textual by predicting parents new nodes. A framework for analyzing bisimulation relations of Boolean control networks (BCNs) is set up in this paper. Bisimulation are natural objectives systems theory: relation between a pair defines on their state spaces or sets explaining how trajectory transition one system can be paired with the other system, and vice versa. The paper first formalizes notion (bi)simulation BCNs presents detailed results characterizing BCNs. Then, as an application bisimulation, it considers propagation...

Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback and its variants excel in aligning with human intentions to generate helpful, harmless, honest responses. However, most of them rely on costly human-annotated pairwise comparisons for supervised alignment, which is not suitable list-level scenarios, such as community question answering. Additionally, preferences are influenced by multiple intrinsic factors responses, leading decision-making inconsistencies. Therefore, we propose...
