Measurements of the positron fraction in high energy cosmic rays using space-borne Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer have been extended to energies 500 GeV. The new results show that stops increasing with at around 200
Precision measurements by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on International Space Station of primary cosmic-ray electron flux in range 0.5 to 700 GeV and positron 500 are presented. The each require a description beyond single power-law spectrum. Both change their behavior at ∼30 but fluxes significantly different magnitude energy dependence. Between 20 200 spectral index is harder than index. determination differing indices versus new observation provides important information origins...
Abstract Exploring the spatial distribution of China’s intangible cultural heritage resources and its influencing factors is an important foundation for their protection development a key step toward integration culture tourism. To analyse geographical patterns 3610 factors, we comprehensively applied methods such as analysis geodetectors. The main findings are follows: (1) In terms distribution, unevenly distributed, with overall agglomeration-type distribution. in north‒south direction...
Over the past decades, cell surface charge, although experimentally observed, has not been well understood particularly from viewpoint of biophysics. Our recent studies have shown that all cancer cells exhibit negative charges are directly proportional to secreted lactic acid, a unique metabolic characteristic: high rate glycolysis. We therefore designed and developed set electrically-charged, fluorescent, super-paramagnetic nanoprobes, capable sensitive detection based on charges. These...
The strain dependence of thermal conductivity (\ensuremath{\kappa}) in monolayer graphene, with reports enhancement, suppression, or even divergence, has been highly controversial. To address this open question, we have systematically investigated the effects tensile on \ensuremath{\kappa} graphene using exact solution Peierls-Boltzmann transport equation based first-principles interatomic force constants combined machine learning assisted molecular dynamics simulations. In contrast to...

We report the properties of precision time structures cosmic nuclei He, Li, Be, B, C, N, and O fluxes over an 11-year solar cycle from May 2011 to November 2022 in rigidity range 1.92 60.3 GV. The show similar but not identical variations with amplitudes decreasing increasing rigidity. In particular, below 3.64 GV B fluxes, 2.15 are significantly less affected by modulation than He flux. observe that these differences linearly correlated spectral indices fluxes. This shows, a...
Nanowires can serve as flexible substrates for hybrid epitaxial growth on selected facets, allowing the design of heterostructures with complex material combinations and geometries. In this work we report epitaxy freestanding vapor–liquid–solid grown in-plane selective area semiconductor–ferromagnetic insulator–superconductor (InAs/EuS/Al) nanowire heterostructures. We study crystal matching wurtzite zinc-blende InAs/rock-salt EuS interfaces well rock-salt EuS/face-centered cubic Al...
We, for the first time, demonstrate a tunable mid-infrared BaGa4Se7-based optical parametric oscillator pumped by acousto-optical Q-switched Ho:YAG laser at 2090.6 nm. Up to 1.55 W of average power was generated in 3-5 μm range, corresponding an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency 14.4% and slope 19.9%. The mid-IR radiation spectra were also seriously researched different phase-matched angles. range 3.49-4.13 signal, 5.19-4.34 idler.
Abstract In the post-Moore era, as energy consumption of micro-nano electronic devices rapidly increases, near-field radiative heat transfer (NFRHT) with super-Planckian phenomena has gradually shown great potential for applications in efficient and ultrafast thermal modulation conversion. Recently, hyperbolic materials, an important class anisotropic materials isofrequency contours, have been intensively investigated. As exotic optical platform, bring tremendous new opportunities NFRHT from...
Abstract The present study employed remote sensing images of the Fen River Basin from 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020 as primary data source. software ENVI, ArcGIS, Fragstats 4.2 were utilized to measure landscape pattern index Basin. A collinearity test was conducted remove any redundant indices. Based on selected indices, values ascertained follows. Using shifting window method, obtained. Second, habitat quality in assessed using InVEST model, spatial autocorrelation approach confirm that...
We used the Cr2+:ZnS as a saturable absorber to obtain passively Q-switched Ho:YAG ceramic laser operating near 2.1 μm. The maximum average output power of 14.8 W and shortest pulse width 29 ns were obtained, our knowledge, this is best report for PQS laser. A energy per 0.6 mJ with repetition frequency 24.4 kHz was achieved, which corresponded peak 20 kW. first pump source optical parametric oscillator mid-infrared 4.4 achieved from ZnGeP2 oscillator, corresponding slope efficiency 49.5%...
Gate-tunable semiconductor-superconductor nanowires with superconducting leads form exotic Josephson junctions that are a highly desirable platform for two types of qubits: those topological superconductivity (Majorana qubits) and based on tunable anharmonicity (gatemon qubits). Controlling their behavior, however, requires understanding electrostatic environment electronic structure. Here we study gated InAs epitaxial aluminum shells. By measuring current-phase relations (CPR) comparing...
A major challenge in cancer therapy is localized targeting of cells for maximum therapeutic effectiveness. However, due to heterogeneities, the biomarkers are either not readily available or specific effective cells. The key, therefore, develop a new strategy that does rely on biomarkers. general hallmark much increased level glycolysis. loss highly mobile lactate from cytoplasm inevitably removes labile inorganic cations form salts and acids as part cycle, creating net negative surface...
Multi-modal imaging plays a key role in the earlier detection of disease. In this work, facile bioinspired method was developed to synthesize Gd-functionalized gold nanoclusters (Gd-Au NCs). The Gd-Au NCs exhibit uniform size, with an average size 5.6 nm dynamic light scattering (DLS), which is bit bigger than clusters (3.74 nm, DLS), while fluorescent properties are almost same as that Au NCs. Moreover, high longitudinal relaxivity value (r1) 22.111 s−1 per mM Gd phosphate-buffered saline...
This article investigates the phase‐change of nanoscale liquid films on different wettability surfaces via molecular dynamics simulation, analyzes thermal resistance between solid and liquid, at solid‐liquid interface studies mismatch vibrational density states for surfaces. The results show that a region 1.4 g/cm3 mass always exists hydrophilic surface during phase‐change, whereas liquid‐vapor‐liked 0.7–0.8 hydrophobic surface. is less than reason
