Processes that regulate size and patterning along an axis must be highly integrated to generate robust shapes; relative changes in these processes underlie both congenital disease evolutionary change. Fin length mutants zebrafish have provided considerable insight into the pathways regulating fin size, yet signals underlying remained less clear. The bony rays of fins possess distinct proximodistal axis, reflected location ray bifurcations lengths segments, which show progressive shortening...

We theoretically investigated the nitrogen substitution effect on molecular structure and π-electron delocalization in linear nitrogen-substituted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (N-PAHs). Based optimized structures magnetic field-induced parameters of fused bi- tricyclic N-PAHs, we found that local subcycles (e.g., mono- bicyclic constituent moieties) N-PAHs is preserved, despite deviation from ideal parent monocycles. The introduction a five-membered ring with pyrrolic N atom (N-5MR)...

We investigated the intramolecular charge transfer characteristics in S1 state of boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY) derivatives with triphenylamine (TPA) substituents, depending on substituted position and number substituents. Based spectroscopic theoretical results, β-substitution TPA BODIPY hybridizes locally excited because strong coupling between highest occupied molecular orbitals moieties, consequently, β-substituted TPAs exhibit red-color fluorescence around 640 nm nonpolar moderately...

We investigate aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characters of bulk tetraphenylethene (TPE) derivatives with nonpolar and polar exterior chains. The TPE dodecyl di(ethylene oxide) chains are in liquid crystal (LC) crystalline phases, respectively, at room temperature. mobile LC character the is crucial for high AIE efficiency because effective minimizing number undesirable nonemissive local sites aggregates inducing a homogeneous zigzag-stacked columnar structure j-type coupled transition...

Biochar was prepared by anaerobic heating coffee ground at 800 o C for 3 hours. The sample used to adsorb crystal violet dye in an aqueous environment. result showed that the biochar had good adsorption capacity dye, with maximum of 128.87 (mg/g). Thus, low-cost from grounds has great potential be as adsorbent material remove

This work presents the preparation of bioactive glasses 70SiO2-(26 - x)CaO-4P2O5-xAg2O (with x = 0, 1, 3, 10 mol%) by a modified sol-gel method with reduced synthesis time based on hydrothermal reaction in medium without acid or base catalysts. The synthetic materials were characterized several physical-chemical techniques such as TG-DSC, XRD, SEM, TEM, and N2 adsorption/desorption measurement. analysis data confirmed that glass sample not containing Ag has completely amorphous structure,...
