Maize plant height is closely associated with biomass, lodging resistance and grain yield. Determining the genetic basis of by characterizing cloning genes will guide improvement crops. In this study, a quantitative trait locus (QTL) for height, qPH3.1, was identified on chromosome 3 using populations derived from cross between Zong3 its segment substitution line, SL15. The two lines obviously different, application exogenous gibberellin A(3) removed difference. QTL mapping placed qPH3.1...

Argonaute (AGO) proteins play a key role in regulation of gene expression through small RNA-directed RNA cleavage and translational repression, are essential for multiple developmental processes. In the present study, 17 AGO genes maize (Zea mays L., ZmAGOs) were identified using Hidden Markov Model validated by rapid amplification cDNA ends assay. Subsequently, quantitative PCR revealed that expressions these higher reproductive than vegetative tissues. AGOs presented five temporal spatial...

ABSTRACT Reliable assessment of the spatial distribution soil erosion is important for making land management decisions, but it has not been thoroughly evaluated in karst geo‐environments. The objective this study was to modify a physically based, spatially distributed model, revised Morgan, Morgan and Finney (RMMF) estimate superficial (as opposed subsurface creep) rates their patterns 1022 ha catchment northwest Guangxi, China. Model parameters were calculated using local data raster...

Hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HEH) is extremely rare, and CT features have never been analyzed in a large group of patients.A retrospective study was designed to review the contrast-enhanced images HEH patients. Intrahepatic lesions were categorized into three types: nodular, locally coalescent (coalescent lesion contained one segment) or diffusely occupied more than segment). compared among different sizes patients with types.A total 93 included this study, 740 analyzed. Type-1 fuzzy PID controllers are widely used in industrial control systems due to their well-established theoretical foundation, simplicity of structure, and ease operation. However, as become increasingly complex demands for higher performance intensify, the limitations more apparent. Additionally, difficulty tuning parameters inability adjust these online controlled system changes further constrain effectiveness traditional controllers. To address challenges, this paper introduces a...

Argonaute (AGO) protein is a kind of RNA binding that plays an integral role in the gene-silencing pathways guided by small RNAs. But there are few studies about regulation AGO genes responded to diverse abiotic stress maize. In this study, we analyzed expression seventeen ZmAGO under heat, cold, salinity, drought and ABA treatments using quantitative PCR (qPCR). All ZmAGOs showed differential modes various treatments. Two (ZmAGO1a ZmAGO5d) other fifteen exhibited specific up-regulation...
