A number of minor and trace elements including Be, C, Ca, Cr, K, Li, Mn, Na, P, Pb, S, Tl, V, Zn present in coal fly ash are found to be preferentially concentrated on the particle surfaces. Environmentally effective concentrations these thus much higher than indicated by conventional bulk analyses.

Micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs) are increasingly found in all realms of the world, including water soil. Now, there is growing concern over this type pollution air. Many well-established techniques exist for detecting particulate matter (PM) They low-cost handheld, some them even allow direct detection from While various MNP methods have been demonstrated, airborne depend on expensive laboratory instruments. This review paper examines current analytic used to identify PM discusses their...

The atmosphere is recognized as one of the major pathways for microplastics (MPs) transport from land to ocean. Reducing uncertainties in deposition flux estimates requires an integrated approach that combines temporal variability, evaluated through long-term monitoring at a fixed station, and spatial assessed mobile observations. In this study, pollution characteristics atmospheric East Sea were analyzed station (Ulleung Island) observations conducted via research vessel (R/V Onnuri). From...

Abstract The concentration of tebuthiuron ( N ‐[5‐(1,1‐dimethylethyl)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐yl)‐ N,N′ ‐dimethylurea) applied in the spray or pellet form was measured surface runoff water from watersheds which received natural simulated rainfall. persistence tebuthluron soil and vegetation also investigated. Pelleted at 2.24 kg/ha (active ingredient) to a 1.3‐ha rangeland watershed. A 2.8‐cm rain, 2 days after application, produced 0.94 cm contained an average 2.2 ppm tebuthiuron. Tebuthiuron...
