This work investigates the use of deep eutectic solvents (DESs) to extract sulfur-based compounds from n-heptane as model diesel compounds. Four DESs were prepared by combining tetrabutylammonium bromide or methyltriphenylphosphonium with ethylene glycol, triethylene sulfolane. All showed good ability thiophene best extraction efficiency (35%) being observed for sulfolane-based DES. The can be further enhanced reach 98% when five cycles are performed. Moreover, easily regenerated using...

Integration of a reversal multistage flash (RVMSF) and multi-effect evaporators (MEE) desalination technologies driven by waste heat source is studied. The warm RVMSF reject brine used as sensible for the MEE process. Three different configurations are compared proved to outperform standalone MSFRV system. Based on best hybrid structure, 69 %, 67 287 % enhancement in recovery ratio, specific energy consumption (SEC), gain output ratio (GOR), respectively over standard process were observed....

This study investigates the effect of using water as a low-viscosity component in ternary amine-based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) on physicochemical properties, thermal stability, and CO 2 absorption capacity resulting DESs. It should be emphasized that is DES. The content DES, type hydrogen bond acceptors (HBAs), donors (HBDs), HBA:HBD ratio above parameters was investigated. Moreover, temperature pressure DESs predicted predictive model COSMO-RS. also used to predict solubility results...

This study aims to investigate and identify the most effective thermal energy storage (TES) system configuration for collective heating of buildings. It compares three TES technologies, i.e., sensible, latent, cascade latent shell tube storage, examines their respective performances. A fast accurate lumped dynamic model efficiently simulate performances under different operation conditions is developed. The validation this model’s accuracy achieved by aligning numerical findings with data...
