Heavy metals are usually released into water bodies from industrial/domestic effluents such as metal plating industries, mining and tanneries. Adsorption is a fundamental process in the physiochemical treatment of wastewaters because its low cost. Great efforts have been made to use economically efficient unconventional adsorbents adsorb heavy aqueous solutions, plant wastes agricultural waste. Biochar mixed with chitosan after crosslinking can be casted membranes, beads solutions which...

This study demonstrates the technical viability of producing low-density flexible polyurethane foam (14 kg/m³) at low vacuum pressure (600 mbar) using both conventional polyether polyol (Polyol-1) and a special (Polyol-2) with variable foaming (VPF) technology. The made Polyol-2 exhibited superior mechanical properties, including increased elongation, resilience, softness, compared to Polyol-1. SEM analysis revealed that had more open, irregular cell structure, contributing improved...

PU foam, a soft, affordable, and easily accessible mattress material, has both advantages disadvantages. Despite having wider pores more open-cell structure it commonly faces criticism for causing body heat retaining moisture, which can lead to bacterial growth allergic reactions. This study investigates the impact of bamboo gelatin filler loading on wicking property foam by using discontinuous foaming process. Foams with fillers were prepared at 2%,4% 8% weight concentrations, respectively,...

Abstract In this study, the physiomechanical properties of carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt (Na‐CMC salt) filler‐loaded foam and its impact on wicking capacity were investigated in juxtaposition with increasing tin concentration. According to study's findings, standard unfilled demonstrated no at all, while flexible PU filled Na‐CMC salt, even low porosity subpar mechanical traits, displayed heights 4 mm, 3.4 2.8 mm test specimens thicknesses 6 8 10 mm. Moreover, a higher level exhibited...

Abstract Ethyl acrylate (EA), Vinyl imidazole (VI), and their binary mixture have been copolymerized onto rayon in aqueous medium by mutual method using γ‐radiation. The graft yield has determined as a function of different reaction parameters such total dose, concentration vinyl monomers, amount water. Effect surfactant (1‐octane sulfonic acid, sodium salt) studied on the percentage grafting EA, VI, (EA + VI). A plausible mechanism suggested to explain observed behavior grafting. Water...

The environment sensitivity of organic semiconductors may change their molecular structure and hence optical properties. Exploiting this concept, experiments were performed on a green light emitting material bis(8-hydroxy quinoline)Zinc, (Znq 2 ) used in diodes (OLEDs). Thin films deposited at varying deposition parameters, properties compared. We investigated that as have significant component Znq tetramer out two known forms, is, dihydrate anhydrous 4 , the lower rates higher content....
