In this letter, we report on fabrication and luminescent properties of phosphor powders thin films Eu3+ doped alumina Al2O3. The were fabricated by combustion synthesis process at a low temperature, 280 °C showed strong photoluminescent cathodoluminescent emissions. Powders Al2O3 concentration 1.0 mol % deposited quartz-glass substrates to form means laser ablation. Under ultraviolet excitation electron beam excitation, these samples containing microcrystalline structures luminescence due...

Abstract High-speed maskless nanolithography is experimentally achieved on AgInSbTe thin films. The lithography was carried out in air at room temperature, with a GaN diode laser (λ = 405 nm), and large sample disk of diameter 120 mm. normal width the written features measures 46 ± 5 nm, about 1/12 diffraction allowed smallest light spot, speed reaches 6 ~ 8 m/s, tens times faster than traditional writing methods. resolution instantaneously tunable by adjusting power. reason behind...

Work is reported on optical antennas of complex molecules. Optical a nanometric particle are widely considered for light relays in various on-chip applications. An appealing candidate an antenna molecule, example, huge cell containing few hundred atoms. The properties, such as the radiation patterns, may be optimized. optimization includes design and synthesis contents structures participating atoms their positions. A scanning probe interacts with the optical near field a sample surface. The whole system radiates, and radiation is collected in far-field domain. far contains subwavelength information about microscopic description of device presented. self-consistent procedure employed that takes into account coupling effects between objects probe–surface to calculate induced at surface features. stemming from can then be described half-space. intensity entrance detector determines received signals. Electromagnetic radiation of electric dipoles, which are placed near a metallic surface and excited by the ongoing polaritons, is investigated. The dipoles used to represent scattering centers, irregulars, mesoscopic particles. A formalism distinguishes evanescent field propagating waves in dipole employed calculate scattered polariton near- far-field zones. Numerical studies local at sites were carried out for 50 with various distances between surface. An enhanced was obtained some cases,...
