Polyphenolic and mineral profiles of berries leaves V. myrtillus (bilberry) uliginosum (bog bilberry) collected from northwestern Macedonia were examined in this study. Overall, 70 polyphenolic compounds identified various classes. Laricitrin-3-O-pentoside, trans- cis-piceid, hexahydroxydiphenoyl-galoyl-glucose, feruloyl-acetyl glucoside coumaroyl kaempferol for Vaccinium genus. Bilberries had higher total phenolic content than bog bilberry. Major differences the pattern found flavonols...

Distributions of a total 21 elements were monitored in significantly lead-zinc polluted area using moss species (Hypnum cupressiforme and Camptothecium lutescens) used interchangeably, covering denser sampling network. Interspecies comparison was conducted Box-Cox transformed values, due to their skewed distribution. The median concentrations trace the both mosses examined decreased following order: Fe>Mn>Zn>Pb>Cu>Ni∼Cr∼As>Co>Cd>Hg. For almost all analyzed elements, H. revealed higher...
