Aerodynamic shape optimization of a swept natural-laminar-flow wing in the transonic regime is still challenging. The difficulty associated with reliable prediction laminar–turbulence transition and reasonable compromise viscous wave drags. This paper proposes to use efficient global based on surrogate models address this problem. Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes flow solver features automatic via full method, which dual factors are used for Tollmien–Schlichting crossflow instabilities,...

In this work, a porous hydrogel-based adsorbent for metal ions was prepared through the copolymerization of acrylic acid and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate using high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) method. Stretched molecular chains in hydrogel ensure excellent accessibility functional sites by ions. A highly open cellular structure endows P(AANa-co-HEMA) gel with transport rates as promising adsorbent. Adsorption properties were investigated three isotherm models two kinetic models. X-ray...

Abstract The excessive growth of CO 2 brings about the global warming and subsequent climate change, which is an increased public concern issue. Currently, chemical fixation identified as one most effective approaches to reduce utilize . Thus, it a great challenge rationally design construct high‐efficient catalysts for conversion utilization. Here, unique metal‐free bifunctional COF heterogeneous catalyst was successfully achieved via post‐modified strategy, simultaneously bears −COOH...

This paper aims to develop an efficient global optimization method for design of transonic natural-laminar-flow (NLF) airfoils and wings, based on high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver. The CFD solver features functionality automatic transition prediction, by coupling Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations with the linear-stability-theory-based dual e N Tollmien-Schlichting crossflow instabilities. An A320-sized NLF wing a laminar supercritical airfoil is designed...

This paper addresses the distributed six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) control problem of translation-rotation coupled spacecraft formation in vicinity an asteroid. Due to complicated gravity field asteroid, there exist no circular or elliptic orbits for spacecraft, which renders schemes designed near Earth inapplicable. In framework twistors, a leader-following scheme is proposed by combining dynamic surface technique and consensus theory under undirected communication topology. First,...

The propagation characteristics of surface acoustic waves (SAWs) on the Y-cut X-propagating Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3–Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–PbTiO3 (PIN–PMN–PT) substrate are theoretically analyzed. results indicate existence a shear horizontal (SH)-type SAW with an ultrahigh electromechanical coupling factor K2. Different metal layers (Au, Al, and Cu) were examined as electrode material. With gold, maximum K2 for SH reaches 72.6%, while it is smaller (69.7%) Al or Cu. There also exists Rayleigh causing...
