An experiment measuring electroproduction of hypernuclei has been performed in hall A at Jefferson Lab on a 12C target. In order to increase counting rates and provide unambiguous kaon identification two superconducting septum magnets ring imaging Cherenkov detector were added the standard equipment. unprecedented energy resolution less than 700 keV FWHM achieved. Thus, observed (Lambda)(12)B spectrum shows for first time identifiable strength core-excited region between ground-state s-wave...
Kaon photoproduction on the proton is studied in resonance region using an isobar model. The higher-spin nucleon (3/2 and 5/2) hyperon (3/2) resonances were included model utilizing consistent formalism by Pascalutsa, they found to play important role data description. spin-1/2 spin-3/2 combination with Born terms contribute significantly background part of amplitude. Various forms hadron form factor considered construction, dipole multidipole selected as those most suitable for Model...
An experimental study of the (16)O(e,e'K(+))(Lambda)(16)N reaction has been performed at Jefferson Lab. A thin film falling water was used as a target. This permitted simultaneous measurement p(e,e'K(+))Lambda, Sigma(0) exclusive reactions and precise calibration energy scale. ground-state binding 13.76+/-0.16 MeV obtained for (Lambda)(16)N with better precision than previous measurements on mirror hypernucleus (Lambda)(16)O. Precise energies have determined peaks arising from Lambda in s p...
Exploiting the isobar model, kaon photo- and electroproduction on proton in resonance region comes under scrutiny. An upgrade of our previous comprising higher-spin nucleon hyperon exchanges consistent formalism, was accomplished by implementing energy-dependent widths resonances, which leads to a different choice hadron form factor with much softer values cutoff parameter for resonant part. For reliable description electroproduction, necessity including longitudinal couplings resonances...
In the absence of accurate data on free two-body hyperon-nucleon interaction, spectra hypernuclei can provide information details effective interaction. Electroproduction hypernucleus Lambda-9Li has been studied for first time with sub-MeV energy resolution in Hall A at Jefferson Lab a 9Be target. order to increase counting rate and unambiguous kaon identification, two superconducting septum magnets Ring Imaging CHerenkov detector (RICH) were added standard equipment. The cross section...
The recent CLAS 2005, SAPHIR 2003, LEPS, and the old, pre-1972, data on ${K}^{+}\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ photoproduction are compared with theoretical calculations in energy region of ${E}_{\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{\mathrm{lab}}<2.6$ GeV order to learn about their mutual consistency. isobaric models Kaon-Maid Saclay-Lyon, along new fits data, utilized this analysis. 2003 shown be coherently shifted down respect CLAS, pre-1972 especially at forward kaon angles. hemisphere can described...
The photoproduction process of neutral kaons on a liquid deuterium target is investigated near the threshold region, Eγ=0.8−1.1 GeV. K0 events are reconstructed from positive and negative pions, differential cross sections derived. Experimental momentum spectra compared with those calculated in spectator model using realistic deuteron wave function. Elementary amplitudes as given by recent isobar models simple phenomenological used to study effect new data angular behavior elementary...

For example, we ${f}_{0}(600)$ meson mass $774\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}15\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{MeV}$ width...
The experiment E94-107 in Hall A at Jefferson Lab started a systematic study of high-resolution hypernuclear spectroscopy the $0p$-shell region nuclei such as hypernuclei produced electroproduction on $^{9}\mathrm{Be},\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{12}\mathrm{C}$, and $^{16}\mathrm{O}$ targets. In order to increase counting rates provide unambiguous kaon identification, two superconducting septum magnets ring-imaging Cherenkov detector were added standard equipment. high-quality beam, good...
The kaon electroproduction reaction 1H(e,e'K+)Lambda was studied as a function of the virtual-photon four-momentum, Q2, total energy, W, and momentum transfer, t, for different values virtual- photon polarization parameter. We report a new measurement of the beam-spin asymmetry $\boldsymbol{\Sigma}$ for $\vec{\gamma} n \rightarrow K^+\Sigma^-$ reaction using quasi-free neutrons in liquid-deuterium target. The dataset includes data at previously unmeasured photon energy and angular ranges, thereby providing constraints on partial wave analyses used to extract properties excited nucleon states. experimental were obtained CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS), housed Hall B Thomas Jefferson National...
The experimental data on the processes $\pi\pi\to\pi\pi,K\bar{K},\eta\eta,\eta\eta^\prime$ in $I^GJ^{PC}=0^+0^{++}$ channel have been jointly analyzed to study status and nature of $f_0$. method analysis is based analyticity unitarity uses an uniformization procedure. Some spectroscopic implications from results are discussed.
A reanalysis of $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi}$ amplitudes for all important partial waves below about 2 GeV is presented. set once subtracted dispersion relations with imposed crossing symmetry condition used to modify unitary multichannel in the $S$, $P$, $D$, and $F$ waves. So far, these specific constructed our works many other analyses have been fitted only experimental data therefore do not fulfill condition. The coupled processes -- the pion-pion scattering and pi --> K antiK in I^GJ^{PC}=0^+0^{++} channel are analyzed (both separately combined) a model-independent approach based on analyticity unitarity using uniformization procedure. It is shown: 1) structure of Riemann surface S-matrix for considered must be allowed calculating both amplitudes resonance parameters, such as mass width; 2) combined analysis needed only pi-pi does not give correct values parameters even if included.

However, this case, first, representation background unsatisfactory; second, coupled process...
